MUST WATCH BEFORE VISITING LAKE POWELL | LONE ROCK BEACH AND HORSESHOE BEND

Dan and Chelle head out for the day after a wonderful sleep in their Under Canvas tent! After waking the sleepy Louie up, then get on the road and over to Lone Rock Beach on the beautiful shoreline of Lake Powell! They brought their Goosehill inflatable paddle boards and get out on the water. After strapping Louie's lifejacket on, they make their way across the bay and find their friend Janelle (Check her photography out on Instagram at brooksandpi...) on the shores of Lone Rock! They find a secluded beach on the island and release Louie to run free and swim before heading back. They grab some dinner at the BirdHouse in Page, Arizona before hiking up to take in the beautiful sights of Horseshoe Bend! What an amazing day, definitely a must watch video before visiting Lake Powell!

😬😬😬. DID someone have a Birthday 🎂 recently? Not sure of the real day but HAPPY BIRTHDAY Chelle and May you stay young forever just as you are today. Can’t wait to see what more surprises will be on this trip to celebrate your special day. With all the places you both travel it’s like a forever honeymoon and never tire of your expression of love for each other. With Finn along for the celebration has made the videos even more exciting. Almost like taking a baby on a trip(hint hint) and making sure you’re quiet when taking a much needed nap. Had to sneak that in cus ya have the baby talking down perfectly. The water level at the Lake is very low cus don’t remember that large beach at the rock. They said that it’s only to get worse as houseboats have areas they no longer can travel too and many are being removed from the water and put into storage. We have property at Lake Mead and was given notice by Corp of Engineers that a lot of areas are closed around the Lake and can’t get to White rapid areas near Virgin Basin. Only to get worse in 2022. Some of the canals into California are nearly dried up too as now we can only water gardens once a week cus our city wells are nearly dry. Soak up this trip cus the future looks so grim for those beautiful vacation places. Next week it’s to be 110-115 which is too early and too hot in June and I know Utah is getting very hot as well. This drought hasn’t been fun these past several years. Nearly forgotten what rain sounds like as ominous clouds go around us. I bet people were taking pictures of Finn pointing the way to the rock and back listening to the crazy lady talking baby talk to a dog. Bet he was exhausted and hope he doesn’t snore like my pup did after swimming all day. Hubby and pup were like a choir competing for who was the loudest. Pup won hands down and he had a whistle too. Looks like ya need to plan a trip to the Dominion Republic as that’s where your niece will serve her mission in October. You know that’s a place you’d love to go to maintain those gorgeous tans and get warmer when winter arrives.
