This testimony was SO unique. I was familiar with Jasmine through the Esther Fast by Flawed & Free so I was overjoyed to see her share. When she mentioned people who refused to let go of these things having cardiac issues, I believe the Lord was telling me that we were literally created for Him. Our hearts beat FOR HIM. When other things sit on the throne of our hearts, because they are not in their rightful place, our hearts can wither (atrophy/waste), fail (heart failure), beat too fast (tachycardia), or too slow (bradycardia), all of which can eventually lead to medication use but the real issue is spiritual. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” - Proverbs 4:23 KJV

I remember her, she came to my school (Philander Smith University) along with two other ladies who renounced and denounced their letters and spoke to us about this topic and there were people who got offended at her message but the whole night I just felt convicted and heard God’s voice really speaking to me about the truth of these organizations and I no longer want to join. All glory to Him ❤️

The amount of massive information being cramed into a potential sorority candidate is crazy… but if they can do it we can learn the bible like that 🤷🏾♀️ how is it a believer participating in that can tell you the ins and out of the rule books but half way know the bible??? Lala, thank you so much for sharing these testimonies! I graduated from college 20 years ago and completed my graduate degree about 1 year ago. Over the years, I always had a desire to pledge a sorority for all of the common reasons…sisterhood, etc..but the opportunity never presented itself to me. For some reason, I have been watching all of these testimonies over the past week and not really sure why the sudden interest since I never pledged.. However, just this morning I received an invitation from a close cousin of mine to attend a Rush event to join the alumnae chapter of her sorority. I now know why God allowed me to take a sudden interest in watching these videos! When she asked me if I wanted to join, I was able to decline the offer. Had she extended this invitation to me sooner, I know the answer would have been different. I had always wondered why I was never offered an invitation to join, but now I am so grateful that I wasn’t! All I can say is thank you God!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 I am praying for my cousin and other family members to denounce this organization. 🙏🏾

So many of the young men and women who pledged undegrad at my HBCU were also really popular in high school. They became fish out of water once they hit our bigger HBCU campus where most people were out of state students who came from all over. As a result they were on their heels to be affiliated or in community with a similar crowd in college. It was sad to see. I think most of us who were lone wolves or thrived in our individuality in high school found our tribes easily thru dorm life, classes or other non greek organizations and did not succumb to the sales pitch of what greek life had to offer because we were able to see thru the facade of these panhellinic organizations. If you observe closely enough they tell on themselves. Thank you for this series though! It's been refreshing to watch.

Also, wanna add that some of the best mentorship and networking comes from staff and faculty regarding careers. This is especially true of the ones who left their fields to teach. Many are still pretty well connected and can put you in front of the right people. Just being a student is enough.

I’m not sure why your videos have begun showing up for me to watch but this is great content. Thank you for your obedience. I was in college in the 80’s ( 😊 late 80’s) and as a wide eyed freshman, my friends and I became fraternity sweethearts. Some of us planned to pledge the sister sorority. My roommates pledged without me. During their process I asked about the next line and was told ,”You don’t need to pledge” I will never forget that. I never did and years later I heard stories of how my male friends who pledged the frat paid the consequences for not having certain sweethearts run errands or be introduced to certain big brothers. As I think back I know I was definitely protected but I had to repent regarding joining the auxiliary as well. Keep up the great work. Blessings
@porschegriffin96469 ай бұрын
Glory be to God!! Just had to look up what the auxiliary was omg 😱. The third requirement to join “belief in a god”!! Wow!!
@ladyt.knight76029 ай бұрын
@@porschegriffin9646 but they don’t tell you that. There were no “outward”rituals but every time we ran around for those on line- getting them things they needed, that was all ritualistic. We didn’t find out if we had “ entered into” the auxiliary until the line we were affiliated with “crossed”. During the pledging process -Some girls were told to do certain things to “ help” the line cross. None of those girls became sweethearts or stars etc. and their reputations were ruined. That is how they chose who was “in” or not. I just remembered that.
@five5jamaica9 ай бұрын
I was in an Auxiliary as well. We did pre-pledge and had a process above and Underground.I wanted a sisterhood so bad that I did the process. I can say that the men were extremely respectful but the older sisters were our Dean and ADP. When we finally crossed, i was never involved in anyone else process because i hated mine. i just told my best friend, if anyone did any of these things to my children, I’d snap 🤷🏾♀️
@nicenynese7 ай бұрын
Is Auxillary the "sweetheart groups"? I did do "Que Sweetheart". The men were very respectful and protected us from other Ques when they came to parties etc. Our Bros would tell the bros from other campuses "Nah they aren't like that". Maybe because I was at a PWI, Georgia Tech. I don't remember much of the process. Just stepping and hanging with my line sisters. Praise God I didn't experience what other "sweethearts" supposedly experienced or were expected to do. Also I know, it was God, praise Him, that I never had a deep desire to pledge a real sorority. Although I went to a couple interest meetings, I never pledged.

Jasmine, I love seeing you continue to spread this message. I first saw you on Tik Tok when you denounced and I saw how unkind some people were to you. I was very upset about how you were being attacked and I was definitely one of the those people who supported and defended you against the bullying. Heck, I even got attacked 😂. I’ve never been interested in pledging and admit that I’m also not a proponent of organized religion, but I have ALWAYS been an advocate of people standing on what they believe, whether others support, agree or not. Glad to see you still standing strong in your belief and purpose. ❤

And everything is on the internet. All the secrets can be found easily now. As well as many other ways to easily obtained. Because he's coming sooner than we realize. He's given all a chance. Before its too late. Our father loves us. And wants us all to worship him. And only him. He's such a merciful God.

Interesting the one thing that stood out to me is the power of her silence, helping others to see the truth when the Greeks came after you for speaking out. Pride covers rejection. It’s that spirit of pride (a lot of times leviathan) that masks and covers up that spirit of rejection - also that jezebel spirit is there within the manipulation/control factor as well as mind control which is witchcraft (octopus spirit/a marine spirit) many more tbh but these are some of the demonic operations in which are considered the “strong man” that people need to bind and cast out. People truly have to come to terms with the fact that they are literally being influenced by unclean spirits by legal right - they have to want TRUTH and choose that! Want and choose FREEDOM FROM BONDAGE, WANT AND CHOOSE CHRIST. The root of all evil is whatever you make an idol out of. In a sorority or not, pride and idolatry is something that mankind needs to repent of - we must truly FALL IN LOVE WITH JESUS and have a reverential FEAR OF THE LORD. I pray people will have eyes to see and ears to hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying, in Jesus mighty name 🤍

I think many people involved in secret organizations don't ask God for permission or guidance because it's "normal" to us to want to do these things. It'd be like asking God if you should go to high school after middle school. We know that's what's next, and that's how deeply ingrained greek life has been. I think college is a wide open bear trap sometimes because you are on your own with no idea of what's what. Even the religious orgs are ungodly in college. But "college life" is just life, right? Smh
