Read his biography and his thought process is just fascinating. He mentions one incident where he was on Brighton beach, saw a little boy looking glum and decided to cheer him up...by running home and bringing over a big sack of "military grade" fireworks and letting them off. Ended up setting the whole sack on fire accidentally so blew up half the beach. Madness, innocence and entertainment all in one.

Brighton beach is about 6 to 8 miles long, I doubt he blew up half of it. But now you say that it interests me since sr had invested in the west pier before it burned down. Im from Brighton by the way and the chances of him flying back to hove, and then relocating that 1 kid among the thousands of daily visitor's are slim. Remember sr was massively in debt at one point and had to sell his house and all his toys. It was only jr deciding to fight that reignited the Ebank name and got sr out of trouble.

That`s not true the people around him when they started giving him the juice the first thing they did was they removed all the mirrors from Connor`s house and from the gym he trained so there was no way he could see he bulked up in size. Chris is being extremely understanding here and is so in the knowledge that Nigel wasn’t exactly worried about Chris Jr’s wellbeing despite the fact he knew exactly what risks were involved. Nigel Benn has shown concern for Chris juniors well-being after it came out that Conor tested positive. It’s cafeteria concern and disappointing. I was a huge Nigel Benn fan in the day and after finding out his lack of concern, compassion and at times hostility to Chris Senior (telling him not to mention his Son) I’ve lost a lot of the respect and admiration I had for him.

My favourite boxer back then, hard as nails, he knew how to play the villian and adequate himself box office.
