How is there no drone sound? Just editing?
@letsgoletsgoletsgoletsgoletsgo Жыл бұрын
@@bubbysbikes i asked this question when i saw redbull's drone footage , the best answer i got was that the riding sounds are recorded on the rider's body , the wind sound is probably a bought resource .

The sights and sounds are amazing! I love the raw footage with no music. Your riding is obviously on point as usual. Bravo!
@remymetailler Жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it!
@DJunglehead Жыл бұрын
Honest, maybe stupid question: how do you get rid of the drone sound in these shots? I mean the obvious approach is to have a mic on Rémy taking the audio, but even then the drone would be heard in the background, right?
@macfawlty Жыл бұрын
@DJunglehead I assumed it was a small shotgun or lav mic near the rear tire, but you'd hear that FPV drone when it was anywhere nearby. Overdub perhaps... or one run with helmet cam and back tire audio sync'd up with a 2nd run with the drone!
@JZStudiosonline Жыл бұрын
@@DJunglehead A couple different mics and a lot of audio editing. There's a couple times when the drone is really close that you can hear it a bit.. It could be surface mics maybe, and you could try phase cancelling, but there's still a ton of audio editing to get the panning and volume adjustment

Probably the best FPV follow video I’ve ever seen. When it started, looked like there’d be a lot of cuts when it got too tight or risky, but what followed was some truly outstanding following and transition moves. Remy’s biking on what was one of the most incredible trails ever made this the best MTB video of the year, IMO. Big props to the pilot and audio (very unique capture). Thanks so much for the effort in producing this one. A very high bar. Loved the crash clip for a dose of reality.
