Actually in South at homes we use more tamarind and always use rock salt.. Salt is put into tamarind jar as a preservative to avoid it getting bad..

But if you wanted a necklace instead, I would strongly recommend buying a rudraksha necklace from IshaLife Store online. they are a trusted source of genuine Rudraksha beads, as there are many fakes out there. although the 5, faced rudraksha beads are in enormous supply and are cheap, so they arent worth faking.
