I have this device and all the above mentioned problems are all very true. one more issue is the mop loosing its map which it has made, without the map it becomes a nuisance to make it work. One good update is that it is now able to work with Alexa.

Good job Bhaayaa.. we need the negative points first.. which u did.. docking position sey bahar aakar, wo chakkar nahi, surroundings ka laser scanning & mapping kar raha hai. And mapping honay ke baad koi object rakh dogey, confuse toh hoga hee. I think we are expecting too much from a robot. Its a robot. Not human.. give it some time to scan atleast.. I know that when it comes out its scanning the area with LDS to confirm its position on its stored map so that it can start cleaning but it should not get confused cos its the matter of processing the positions and better algorithms can yield better poisoning . I 100% agree that its not human also its only 25k in price while others cost almost double but the purpose of the entire video is to make my audience aware that things are not as simple as price and performance their are always many aspects to consider before making a purchase .

sir I have not seen it working in person so its difficult to comment but all in all most are built in china and work round about same . Some millagrow machines have tall profile I would suggest not to buy such tall profile machines .

I've tried the seagull model and I won't recommend that due to less battery for a 750 sq ft area. Also the slight mopping feature is a waste. Never count much on good mopping with any robot for that matter since there's no much pressure built while mopping as the weight of the machine itself is less. Moreover, the same mop doesn't get auto cleaned while mopping that means the same mop being dirty on the first room will keep mopping in the other rooms too which will result in stains and marks with no hygeine. Spilling water all across won't help either since the vacuum brush won't do much dusting and the motor and hepa filter will get water in it. Suction power is low so doesn't really picks grains like particles. The brush started getting wearing off in a usage of just 2 weeks. Long Hair gets entangled in all the wheels and brooms which is very tedious to remove. Better go with a standard vacuum for dusting or a special vacuum with mopping feature unless if your physique allows you take efforts walking it in every corners and gives you a 10 times more quality cleaning compared to the robots

The after sales service is pathetic, the technical teams are not equipped to handle the issues. My device is throwing an error "please keep the device on floor to start", this is the 5th time this issue has occured and till now the issue is unresolved. Please be aware of this before buying.

They already said what's in the box what's not in... There is no point in projecting it as a negative thing. dust is not getting attracted it's actually made more visible in glozy finish... That means it asked used to make it clean.

Thanks for sharing this video with all the practical issues. The part when the LDS gets stuck on the door, .. does the robot stop? Or show error? I understand this is the typical issue with all lidar robots. Is there Any practical jugaad? :) And about the hair tangling, if you had an additional roller , would it help if the brushes were cut off and only the rubber was kept? Or remove the roller entirely ? :D Am also contemplating about this one and the mcturring a3 tarr model. Any inputs on the mcturring a3. Model?. It's comparatively new, but seems to have good features .SLAM feels better with ability to store a map, and even with go , no go zones!

if it gets stuck it will stop after trying and give error , their is no fix u just need to make sure nothing obstructs your robot .It has absolutely no problems with long human hair and pet hair so no issues their . Sir I have not seen that machine in person mcturring a3 tarr model so cant comment on it . Technology and security (Privacy) wise LDR is always better than SLAM . Mi also has now multi map support no go lines and Zones .

its still working but its battery backup has gone down . when it was new it would easily do all cleaning of my home and still would have 20 to 30 % battery when returning to base , now it goes to auto charge and resumes cleaning in middle so i can easily say battery performance has gone do by atleast 40%

I have been using this robo mop more than 5 months, I don't see some flaws mentioned by you. 1. It will make 2 to 3 rounds initially to scan home using it's Laser . It's not flaw. 2. We need to clear all objects in entire home to move it clearly, this is applicable for all vaccum cleaners. 3.no need to replace Hepa filters, mop cloth and main brush very frequently, for me it's 6 months and still am using the accessories which comees along with it. 4.It is working as described, no false promises from MI,

it will suck the water but its not supposed to do that as the HEPA filter will now chock n u need to wash it . the wiping process is done by the mopping pad but it cant deal with high quantity of liquid .

I am using in my Village, mine is very big house I first vaccum and then mop.. still 100% battery is ok... Only thing I am worried is that spares when wear out happened.. As well as in my house we have elevation and I made one wooden slope so it can claimb and does its job.. over all performance wise it is good. Still I feel that MI might have made this product for 15 to 20k but at this situation no labourers are available and I am planning to buy one industry robo for my house and farm work.. We need to change our our mindset and adopts new technologies to survive.. All the best and buy and enjoy

It still works perfectly but for brooming not for mopping as moppingis is average from day 1. It only takes 24w it has a 20v 1.2Amp adapter . Charging time will be 1 to 1.5 hrs so 24 w for 1.5 hrs . So i say the consumption is less

Sir i have not used the other 1 so me commenting about it will be wrong. As a matter of fact MI have now upgraded the machine software to support multi floor and the other problems which are highlighted are in some or the other manner present with all other mid range machines , if you have a good local MI service centre I would suggest you to go for Mi . Its good in low budget else nothing beats irobot .

Yes their are 3 lvl of water that you can have while using mopping function .I don't know cost of replacement brushes mine are still running fine .

Hi, I loved the video, it was very informative and definitely helpful in shortlisting which one I want to buy, I just have one question. The vacuum cleaners that can map the entire house (like this one or Trifo Max), how good they are with multi floor house layouts ? I mean my house is multi floor layout where each room is on a different level, so at one time I can get only one room cleaned, can I lift it up and put it another room and it can still clean and map the area without any issue ?

well you can clean 1 room at a time using the app and it goes their cleans it n comes back (on same floor) . Now Mi has introduced multi floor support in recent update but I cant comment on it as I have a single floor house but I guess it should work as any other robotic vacuum cleaner with multi floor support.
