FOMO got me and I quickly bought 2 cases of Contender "Hobby" blasters when Panini launched them on their site. Turns out the only difference is the price (these are double what walmart & target are selling them for) and the color of the box. WOOHOO!

They are all blaster exclusive parallels, aren't they? They're green. Isn't that a blaster exclusive? Therefore it's not hobby. They just put the word hobby on a blaster... I agree. Lawsuit coming

These are Fanatics exclusive blasters that they no longer sell at fanatics so they sell them through hobby shops. This is literally exactly like if they stopped selling Target boxes and started calling Target boxes hobby. It doesn't make them have hobby products or hobby hits or hobby odds. If it was a blaster full of hobby packs that'd be great. Why not just give us 6 hobby packs and call it a hobby blaster though? That'd be awesome.

Love contenders blasters this year. Got two boxes and pulled 3 strouds - 1 patch 1 insert and 1 base, and then I pulled an Ar5 parallel and 2 will Levis and Bryce young. I think they have some good value in my opinion

I completely agree that a class-action is in order for Panini. They misrepresent the product, they stick us with non game used swatches that have very little to do with the player and they charge outrageous prices for what usually ends up being junk. 13:55 still here #tadpolegang Also, check that Stroud base for ink loss on the upper left text. I picked up 2 of these yesterday. Both Stroud base cards had this ink loss. I got an Anthony Richardson mem card that has a huge wrinkle on the back. Panini BLOWS!

Definitely not hobby, it was the same thing for Prizm, when panini was suppose to have fanatics sell those “pink” blasters and panini said nope, sold them themselves, raised the price and called them “Hobby” definitely false advertising! Bit on a better note, the Prizm Victor Wembanyama card I bought from your what not store, got it back from PSA and got a 10 Baby! Whoop 🙌 Whoop 🙌

I have a serious question, why do you refer to the jersey mems patches? I've always called them jersey swatches, a patch is always something more colorful and thicker usually, like parts of the name plates, number, logos, etc

As a pokemon collector I thought i was getting screwed when opening packs but sports card packs are down right terrible. I watch sport card opening alot and I VERY RARELY see a good hit.

Panini is the worst D2C ever. Their blasters are the same as in the store. They had Optic football on their app for 60 bucks a pop. They were, what, 35 to 40 in the store? Absolute insanity.

Hard to go for litigation when they offered a product at a price and you accepted that price. Bad business for sure, but they could make a shiny gold box for $100 per with the same product, and as long as they are factual with the contents, they are legally in the clear.
