I have tuned the guitar like this: contra B, C#, F#, B, e, a, c#‘, f#‘. So it is a F# tuning with a dominant and subdominant base.

I enjoyed listening to this as a compelling variation from the original, that is, following the same outline as the original, aside from the addition of the lower notes from 7th & 8th strings, but with modifications in the B section. Here is where you employed a bit of genius, adding on the other chord notes in the A major and A minor, whereas in the original, there only single notes defining major and minor modes. Personally, I missed hearing the staccato chords pivoting off of the G/B harmonic at the 12th fret. The tempo of this prelude is tricky, play it too slowly and it takes on a dirge effect, too quickly and the whole thing gets frenetic, but clocking in at nearly 5 minutes, the song is full minute longer than the classic version as played by Julian Bream, due to the increased time given to the B section. Just my two cents, I would rather hear your interpretation at 6 minutes with a slower tempo in the A section then hear the A section rushed to fit around your customized B section. Tone and execution are remarkable, with excellent articulation on every note!

This was quite good. However, I still like Segovia's version sightly better.... (Sorry!) There are a few places where he seems to play it with a little more feeling. But then...he was...Andres Segovia! Don't get me wrong, this was QUITE good! (Better than I can play it!). 👍 👌
