So funny, but this video triggered a full on memory from my childhood. I was about 12, it was early fall and I had just showered and my mom called me into her room where she kept things. She had a trunk lined in cedar and invited me to inhale it after smelling the aged leather. It was a trunk she had brought over from France when she immigrated and was shrouded in mystery. Never had I gazed at its contents. Next she pulled out a decorative box which she opened and nestled inside was a pinkish tan block of wood the size of a bar of soap and invited me to sniff it. It smelled so creamy, exotic and delicious like the best thing I ever smelled. I loved it. She was glad I enjoyed it and told me that it was sandalwood and people either loved it or hated it. She showed me a pouch of orris root, allowed me to sniff it and told me it could be used to preserve dried flowers or in perfumes. I didn't enjoy it much or the Shalimar she had me sample. This was followed by Arpege My Sin, a Muguet scent I adored, Calyx another win and a forgettable sweet English Violet fragrance. She had me close my eyes and sprayed her wrist with a perfume and asked me what I thought. I told her it smelled ok but old. With my eyes still closed she gave me something else to smell. It was amazing, so rich, slightly spicy, but also clean like a garden of flowers after a rain. She asked what I thought of it and had me open my eyes. In her hand was a humble bar of Maja soap. The perfume was Chanel number 5. She laughed and told me to never care about a name or a package and to wear what I wanted. When you were pulling the perfumes this came to me like it was yesterday in full force. Previously I only remembered a visceral dislike of the smell of orris root and my enchantment with sandalwood. I am laughing bc NO ONE can load a fragrance tray like you, Veronica! You are determined! It’s always so fun watching you browse through your shelves. I haven’t bought any new bottles lately but ordered three samples. Two were new from Ormonde Jayne (Kashmir and Bukhara), and one is from an independent perfumer in Canada (Meleg Perfumes Temple of Horus). I can’t wait to try them out! “Killer instinct,” with an image of blood on the bottle, and they sent you a whole axe?? 😳 Yeah no red flags there. 😂 That is all the way crazy. 🚫🚩 Fun picks! Ensoleille Moi is an oldie but such a goody, been reaching for it a lot lately. ❤ Edited to add: we inherited a gorgeous, antique Baby Grand piano (priceless family heirloom) that had some scratches on it. I used an alcohol based marker (the same color as the wood) to color in the scratches & divets, which stained the light inner wood to where you can’t even tell it was scratched. You could do that with your gorgeous dressing table. They just need to be alcohol based markers (not water based) to work. Copics & Sharpies work great, and I’ve also used misc brands of furniture marker sets in shades of browns- very convenient for easy color matching. ❤

Beautiful lady, where do I begin, so Day three fragrances, are lovely not talked about it in fragrance community; Tacita se Cafe is the only coffee fragrance I can tolerate! I was totally disgusted byCoffee Addict!! It smelled like day-old coffee spilled on me; no Bueno!!! Lol. Bon Bon is a cute and fun fragrance, but I believe that because you have so many fragrances it probably does not excite you. I really like it. Panettone , luckily I bought a five ML from Scent Split it is one to wear when it is cold, on me it is beast mode! I am intrigued by your CH mojito fragrance, I love my freshies! I have to thank you so much for the Guerlain M Basilica!!! It is the perfect fragrance for our 80° weather here in Chicago! Great video young lady

Veronica, I meant to tell you what a memory your arranging your "tall girls in the back" brought up for me, but I just wrote about it in a FB group, and thought I'd share it with you...(it was asked of group members to write about their "fragrance journey", so I did). "I didn't actually get a perfume of my own until I was 9 ...even though I played with Mama's perfume bottles like they were "ladies", making little stories with them on her dresser - this all came back to me just the other day when I heard Veronica ("Veronica Says", on KZbin - she is one of my absolute favorites) refer to putting her "tall girls" in the back when arranging her perfumes... anyway, I digress - Daddy got it for me, and it was Eau de Love. I have a bottle of Creed queen of silk 3.7 & thr spray or isn’t working. I know Amazon sells atomizers and I think just the spray nozzle? Does anybody knows how I chose the right size or how to put one in the Creed bottle? I bought it on eBay for a discounted price so don’t want to get it refunded & have to buy the 2.7 oz.

⛔ WHAAAT??! ⛔ I'm curious...how many people would NOT reach for a fragrance just because they don't like the look of the bottle?? No issue with ergonomics, no issues with the atomizer. Just a bottle that isn't "pretty." Because I could not care less what the bottle looks like, as long as I like the fragrance. You can get travel atomizer if you don't like a bottle. You can even switch it to a different bottle, if you know what you're doing.

Well, it's called "Killer Instinct" so, he's hoping that upon wearing the fragrance you'll be born into the life of an ax murderer... I get it. He wants to be REMEMBERED in this world of 6,000 NEW RELEASES A YEAR (thats a real number 😟) because how many people that he sent PR to the first time, even tried the fragrance, let alone talked about it on their channel?? This time, he's hoping to get some play. I'd at least mention the fragrance, if it were me. He might not like what I had to say but if he's a content creator, he understands the need for HONEST reviews and constructive criticism. 💜🤟🏻
