@mangoss3043 жыл бұрын
His voice isn't angelic. He got a decent voice where he can sing. But it isn't a angelic voice where it is like Whitney houston. Or Mariah carey and other artist. You are tripping :) 😃. I think why people said that because you probably don't know much about where the area he lives in or what these guys really about. People thought it was going to be drill.

@@salzzz1071 Your right so I'll just say what I feel. Most of these artist will rap about songs like this. off camera. They aren't who they are. They wonder why their friends die because their repping gangs. If your around that life style for so long even when your making so much money. You can go somewhere far away, why be around the area you seen so much blood and homies dead. I've came up from stuff to I don't need to get into it. I'm an old head. But I see a lot of these young adults artist being hypocrites off camera their a complete different person. Or putting on a mask and people think their dope. Like fans with Travis Scott. What people may speak in their songs when no one is looking and when they with the bros is a different story. It's all the gang life. If he's a true musslim brother would know what do best for his life would be to get out of the area he lives in. A lot of people in that life style has got and made a change. That is all I am saying. Most of those people in the music videos aren't his family they only around because he got the bread coming in. Guys covered in mask they serious bussiness. If he wanted to do something different all those mali brothers would laugh and mock him maybe some would remain loyal. I bet a lot of brother like you who go on saying shit matches I hope he blows up. Don't even listen to half of the shit what he is speaking of his lyrics. Talking about angelic LOL. @robertt2233 жыл бұрын
Staying alive by staying out of gangs is largely the way to go. Add be respectful and dignified and honorable. Instead of rasing a gang sign or hand up at someone you *think* looks at you *wrong* and want to hurt them or any other stupid crap. It's asinine to think that's any way to live. Gang culture propetuated by the music and others needs to just end. It never will of course. But those behind it brainwashing and indoctrination into gangs who's devotion to itself in what borders on cultists mania are the truly evil.

My Dad, Ethiopian, he loved his country so much. Even after he brought my Mom, also Ethiopian to America and had me and my two brothers, he went back to fight for his country. And he died for it. I feel guilty all the time that I’ve been brought to this country while all my cousins are still there, and at the same time I feel jealous that they are all together and their parents are all living. Sometimes I wonder which one of us are truly lucky.

I feel you, bro...I can kinda relate - not the same exact way but I moved to Toronto a few years ago because of similar circumstances in my country and I know how I should feel blessed for my position, (which I obviously am), but here I'm am, struggling all by myself... meanwhile all my family and friends are struggling back home (or other parts of the world). who's really in a better position? One day I just hope we all get to reunite and it's worth something.

@Steve H This is what i was thinking. Sad how many people can be fooled by this.
@satoshimiyazaki16584 жыл бұрын
@Steve H he could simply replace the musical instruments in this song with Acapella and it would be halal, no?
@satoshimiyazaki16584 жыл бұрын
@Steve H Ok, but Islamic music called nasheeds with only Acapella and/or the instrument called Daff is permissible in Islam, is it not? Aren't there Hadith that verifies that?
@satoshimiyazaki16584 жыл бұрын
@Steve H I'm sorry, but the lines are very blurry. I understand that musical instruments are forbidden, except for the Daff which is still essentially percussion - a major component of music. Singing is forbidden, except when you sing good lyrics and poetry encouraging love and worship of God and His religion. It all seems to be very contradictory at first. I do agree that Hip-Hop and most modern music is a very destructive and an ill-mannered culture. But what do most Muslim scholars say of scientific facts that support classical music and learning an instrument as healthy for brain development and intelligence? I understand that scientific facts are touted by Islamic scholars as long as they are in harmony with Islamic teachings, but when they are in discord, do they offer any explanation or research to counter that? Also, the idea of melody resembling the kuffar, I notice that many African qaris or reciters of the Quran recite in their local melodic intervals. Wasn't the African melodic interval along with the Arabic intervals that Arab qaris recite in the melodies of the kuffar before the onset of Islam?
@satoshimiyazaki16584 жыл бұрын
@Steve H So basically, the gist of what I've been able to interpret from all of this sometimes conflicting info is that music is MOSTLY haraam and that if certain conditions are met regarding the halal music (Acapella or daff + good lyrics), it shouldn't be the focal point of a Muslim's life. In that case, I think I agree with that.
