He was my grandmother’s favourite singer and because I spent a great deal of time at her home, I grew up listening to him. Now Nat King Cole is my favourite singer. My daughter listens to his music and now her children are growing up listening to Mr. Cole as well. I’d guess he never imagined his talent and music would be appreciated decades after his passing . . . and I’m guessing it will continue for decades to come.

There is no doubt that Natalie inherited her father's singing genes, and they made beautiful music together, even after Nat was gone, with the magic of compilation. Both are gone now, sadly, as are most of the superb musicians of their era and before, whose music will continue on for listeners, who appreciate that kind of music WAY OVER the kind that is produced today with singers who need fireworks, noise and stage props to gain audiences. The great singers of old didn't need all that, just a great orchestra or combo to work with and a microphone to project and they had it all over today's singers, no gimmicks needed! BTW, many people today do not know that Nat King Cole was an accomplished pianist before he was known for his singing!

@@whatwillbem6825 Thank you, Carla; I miss my dad too. Children are supposed to outlive their parents but it's always so hard when you do lose them as I did both of mine years ago, but you NEVER forget them. I still think of my father often, my mom too but I was closer to my dad. It was Daddy who really loved music and saw to it that each of us kids played piano and/or an instrument and I am so grateful for that, it enabled me to have another way to make a living and really enjoy what I was doing and music is still a very important part of my life!

Forever, even in several centuries, if we are still there and that we have escaped the sixth extinction and human stupidity, his voice will continue to resonate and to carry his sensitivity, in a vessel, at the other end of the galaxy. is a certainty, it should be seen thus and not otherwise. The great artists and their songs never die,Gabrielle.

I love hearing Nat and Natalie sing together, and seeing all the family photos--but when they showed the pictures of Natalie at the end, now that she's not here anymore, made me very sad. I wish she and her Dad both, had gotten to have long, happy lives, but I know they are singing in the Lord's choir now. RIP, Nat and Natalie--thanks for all the beautiful music.😔💒

I was going to comment but then saw the other comments. What more to say but glad others feel the same about this beautiful family from the time. I can't think of a generational follow up to compare with the way Natalie beautifully did.

Nat King Cole o gênio imortal da música americana que amava o Brasil e os latinos. Tanto que amava que fez questão de aprender português e espanhol e lançou varios LPs nesses dois idiomas.

Just so beautiful. So great they have the tech now to create this. That she could really sound like she was singing a duet with her dad. What a treasure. They must be singing in heaven together now.
