@mjlejer32414 жыл бұрын
There is no doubt that Natalie inherited her father's singing genes, and they made beautiful music together, even after Nat was gone, with the magic of compilation. Both are gone now, sadly, as are most of the superb musicians of their era and before, whose music will continue on for listeners, who appreciate that kind of music WAY OVER the kind that is produced today with singers who need fireworks, noise and stage props to gain audiences. The great singers of old didn't need all that, just a great orchestra or combo to work with and a microphone to project and they had it all over today's singers, no gimmicks needed! BTW, many people today do not know that Nat King Cole was an accomplished pianist before he was known for his singing!

Children are supposed to outlive their parents but it's always so hard when you do lose them as I did both of mine years ago, but you NEVER forget them. It was Daddy who really loved music and saw to it that each of us kids played piano and/or an instrument and I am so grateful for that, it enabled me to have another way to make a living and really enjoy what I was doing and music is still a very important part of my life!
