Just bought my supercharged GT this is my 6th mustang damn this thing is fun !! Thanks for this vid im still trying to figure out all these settings. This thing even shows boost and AFR on the screen pretty dope!!

Just bought a 2018 mustang gt 3 days ago, first rwd car, first car with real power, and I had to throw a like for all the "mustang driver" shade. Definitely not trying to be that guy going full mustang, lol. Pretty sure I'm as scared of crowds of people as they are of me.

This was interesting..my last mustang was an 04 gt manual..when i wanted to do a burout I just dump the clutch and tire smoke a plenty..just upgraded to a 2017 gt mustang and I guess I gotta learn to outsmart the computer before I can burnout..i tried a burnout the other day before watching this video and my pony was fighting it and smoked the tires for a second then the engine would stall..so I'll try recommendations and see what happens

I got a new TRACTION CONTROL SETTING for everybody that's got the base model GT. It's called sport mode. Not talking about when you slide your shifter back to sport. You simply click the traction control button five times click quickly starting with it in traction control on or the normal TC setting. I haven't played with it enough to figure out when and where or if it's beneficial in any areas. But it's something I discovered I haven't seen anybody else talking about this.

I believe that is Advance Trac Sport which allows some slip in both straight line acceleration and in corners so you can have some fun without ruining the car. Also the S on the shifter isn't an entire mode but is just for the transmission and paddles.

Thank you for explaining, Everytime I tried my 2015 just says line lock mat available see manual and I checked the manual and it was no help👍🏻

The brake peddle is never supposed to reach the floor unless you have air in the system

You don’t need to be in track mode to use line lock. I have a mustang and it works just fine without being in track mode. It’s just once you’ll set yourself up to use it make sure your e-brake is in the down position.

Track mode is not necessary. Lol. Us V6 guys have found out how to enable line lock and we don’t have track mode.

2 thing's... I have a 2015 and for the line lock I don't have to have it in track mode it works in any mode because it takes the traction off none the less. 2. For line lock you dont have to press the brakes to engage it its already engaged when you turn it on, well at least with the manual option.

do you get wheel spin on launch control? If so, how much wheel spin? Does launch control only work good with drag radials and not street tire?

On line lock how do you release the clutch or how much gas do you give it when I gas it and release the clutch it stalls out

Press the brake until it's ready, then put it in first, rev the car, and then release the clutch somewhat quickly. Then floor the accelerator and smell the tyres die :D

I usually go to 3k or so, punch it and release the clutch pretty quickly. RIP Goodyear

So when your about to launch do you have to hold the clutch all the way to the floor when you rev it to 4k rpms ? I can’t figure it out I just tried In my 2015 gt

When advance trac is OFF that's how we can do donuts or get sideways around a corner??? (18 GT 6 Mt)

The ESC sucks in the s550s. You can still spend the tires and get sideways and it's absolutely unpredictable.

Learn how to drive your car and you won't be going everywhere so maybe you should have gotten an other car your not worthy off the mustang
