Man, the rear looks way harder to do than on a solid axle car. Not that I have a problem with the IRS, but I don't think I'd feel comfortable attempting this on my own without a lift and air tools.

Installed these a month ago and my front right shock is leaking. Is it a bad idea to use lowering springs and keep the stocks shocks and struts.
@latemodelrestoration4 жыл бұрын
No, it's not bad to use the stock shocks and struts. But you may have a OE manufacturing issue. I would contact your local Ford dealer and ask them about it. Or give us a call at 1-866-507-3786 and one of our CCR's can help you out.

Look carefully at the rear and the front gap of both cars. It looks like front and rear identical sized tires.. The front gap is greater. After installing my SVE progressives w/SVE camber plates, which is an Eibach Pro rebadge, my front is 1/4" higher in the front. How in the heck do I get rid of this?
@latemodelrestoration3 жыл бұрын
We recommend double checking to make sure everything was installed correctly, as shown in the install video. We would also recommend driving the car to break in the springs and allow them to adjust. The car can generally lower a little bit more once you do that.
@Condor19703 жыл бұрын
@@latemodelrestoration I'm taking it in for an alignment tomorrow. I will have him loosen, jounce, then torque all bushings while on the rack, and see if that makes any difference.
@Condor19703 жыл бұрын
@@latemodelrestoration Just got done with an alignment. The front is still the same, 1/4" higher than the rear at 27.25" rear, 27.5" front. I'll just drive it for several months to work everything in. If it's still 1/4 high in the front, then I can get a set of Steeda Spacers for the rear, and some Rear Camber brackets, since the rear camber is at 2.5 degrees. I may want that a little less. Outside of that, everything seems to run pretty darn good.
