I just ran across your channel so far so good. About the mustang I had a 2015 convertible and I agree with everything you say about this being a fun car. My family and I had smiles on our faces every time we got in the convertible. I was so happy to see a young couple bought the car, and they drove away with smiles on their face. Yes, the top was down. 👍👍👍

Just found your channel, you're a good/smart/cool guy I could hang out with! I made the gas can mods (referring to the 2 of your videos I watched first) on my cans last year. Much safer and more convenient! Noticed in your videos you are a car guy (I love shifting and listening to the motor sing), woodworker, and obviously talented musician (bass, guitar and keys in the shot). I'm not sure we could have more in common (maybe I'll find out...), but look forward to watching more! Thanks for making this interesting channel.

Most years we should have had a sunny ☀️ 50° day by now in Minnesota! Hopefully I can get my Mustang out by the end of this week after our 8” of snow melts from last night… and a rainfall washes off the road salt. Hi Marc! What a huge difference in weather, for each of us this winter. The most we had here in eastern Pennsylvania was flurries, with no accumulation. It has been unseasonably warm as well, and there were days that I probably could have taken the car out, top down. Hopefully there is not too much salt left on your roads after a few good spring rain falls. Your babies need to be on a low salt diet! 😁

Gotta tell you Mike, back when you had your GT on order, I was also thinking about buying a Mustang. After seeing you take delivery of yours and how much you enjoyed it, I went out and bought a 2019 GT Premium. After 2 years I had to trade it in as I was caretaker for my elderly Mom and she struggled to get in and out of the Mustang. Mom passed in 2021 and I am now wanting the Mustang experience again! I have an S650 on order (GT Premium Race Red / Carmine Red, 10 speed, Nite Pony Package, Brembo Brakes) which will arrive in July or August. I very much relate to you in many ways....we are around the same age, and at this point in my life, I don't need to drive my car like I stole it LOL I can enjoy driving it and "getting on it" every so often. I plan to put an H-Pipe on the '24 and a few aesthetic mods. Maybe if Ford provides some moderate tunes that can likely be downloaded through the "over-the-air" system they have now, I may go for such. It will be my daily ride here in Illinois, but I don't NEED to drive in bad weather (retired) so it's not a problem. I also have a Pro Street 74 GTO (I have a KZbin channel for it) which I've owned since I was 18 and it's been modified since 1997! I have an obsession for red American Muscle! LOL Anyhow, thanks for the amazing videos you've made! I enjoy the POV drives and all the "fix it" vids! Looking forward to more! God Bless!! 🙏👍

Wow, that car is absolutely amazing! 😁🔥 it's so cool that you have owned it since you were a teenager. That car looks fast from absolutely every angle. It's definitely a keeper! I don't drive the Mustang much, but I just got back from running a few errands with the top down and it feels like it's brand new every time I drive it ! 😁 it really makes me feel like a little kid, and I love all of the smiles that it puts on other people's faces. I really need to make more Mustang videos!... Congratulations on the new S650 that you have on order! I had my elderly mom in mine a few times and it was like I had to lift her in and out since the car sits so low. I can see why you traded it in. Hey Vic! Thanks for dropping by. Yes, I am jealous that you can drive all season long. 😮😄 I don't have a dash cam per se, rather that is my iPhone 13 in a suction cup mount. I think the mount brand is Panavise. The iPhone works pretty well in the car, but wind noise is the biggest factor. But for this spontaneous video it was perfect! They always say that the best camera for any job is the one that you have with you. 😁

Great question! Apart from the cost of the car, there is the usual insurance and fuel costs. All my oil changes so far have been free - part of my incentive package when I purchased. (2018 I'm sure was a different era for buyers!) I've had a few repairs, which were all done under warranty: a damaged shock tower mount and a defective touch-lock in the passenger side door handle are the ones that come to mind. My most expensive 'mod' was a set of new (used) wheels and all-weather tires, which combined was around $1,500 US. All my other expenses were either mods or cosmetic options, ranging from the Steeda clutch return spring (cheapest mod?) to Expel paint protection film and window tint on the most expensive side.

My butt dyno says I get a little more horsepower at a lower RPM. My friends tell me I should consider a custom tune to get the most out of it. But my ears are very happy with the rumble, and the car is plenty gutsy as it is!

Hey again Mike! Great point about how there are many ways to customize our Mustangs. At the end of my long comment below is a fantastic KZbin Link on how to create your own individual “My Color” settings. The Mustang’s owners manual doesn’t give much info on this, so I never really did much with it for my very own 2018 GT Premium convertible that is similar to yours. The video link below is extremely well detailed, and there’s another link within the video description to save or print the entire RGB chart as well! I have the RGB chart saved on my iPhone, but also plan to print one out using a laser color printer to keep with my owner’s manual for future reference as well. Hope this is useful for you and other viewers, Mike! I thoroughly enjoy your videos. When I first got my car, I was constantly changing the color scheme. It's funny, I guess you get used to it because I couldn't even tell you what color my gauges are set to right now! So many customizable features on the Mustang that you never get bored playing. 😄
