Id recommend just peeling a corner of the 3M backing so it sticks out, then put all the screws in and then peel the backing while its bolted on. This way the 3m doesnt stick until you need it to

i think it’s better to buy pre painted, way more money for the raw part and an auto body shop to paint it after

Once you install this, are you able to remove it again let's say if u wanted a different spoiler or have a paint Job done to the car? Or are you still able to paint it with the spoiler on and it's not a problem?

Yes it is easy to remove! Just remove the bolts and a little goo gone should do!

What size drill bits did you use to successfully puncture the holes so I can prevent the same mistake from happening? Looking to install the same spoiler on my car as well.

Hello kevin i used a 9/64 for the pilot hole, and a 7/32 for the actual hole. We might have different size bolts, so just be mindful of the size. :) Goodluck on your install!

@@fwedewick4411 I never actually went along with it but I have some time now. I can’t find a spoiler with a template. I’ll have to make my own template, I own a 2011. Okay I’ll try those two drill bite size. Thanks!

@@DasAlienYota hahaha I installed it with no template. Strangely enough, I had the same problem as OP, I broke the drill bit on the last hole, dented my trunk up a bit, but the spoiler covers it up though, oh well!
