If you didn't get a second chance at cards, it would make the pool of available cards smaller and smaller. Eventually you'd be able to predict that one card is coming. That's probably why you can see them again.

There are a lot of cards. It used to be that way, and you definitely couldn’t predict the future cards

there's like a alot of cards. You could make cool plays like pick anti-interference module before going hacker. Or committing more into wasps if you knew orbital bombardment or storm was out of the way. It was like this before and i liked it a lot better.

Not sure about carry mustangs, but as a last line of chaff - it's perfect. Buffed missile interception is way too good to ignore it and use static defence

Mustang is very strong right now i think. It's very easily abusable though so you need to be careful how you use them

just got sacked 3 times in a row with mustang crawler openings, very hard to beat. i did not check the patch notes, but it seems the damage was boosted - they tore through Tarantulas and Arcs like its nothing...

What is the best unit to beat melting point, I have a hard time stopping them.

Depends a lot how your composition is setup. Steel Balls are usually best against melters since the melter has a lot of trouble killing them and they kill the melter. If he goes multimelter you can just go range suck on the balls and you win or build your own melter afterwards with range. If you have enough damage on the board and maybe lack a lttle bit on chaff clear, sledges are very strong against melters. They tank them and a lot of other units that melters are good with (like mustangs). But you need to have some sort of damage source to actually deal with the melters like leveled phoenix or whatever

out of curiosity why no missile interceptor on the mustangs?

Have seen a lot of fangs so i need HE against them. I have found myself building carry mustang multiple times this patch so i need AP bullets with them and range and aerial are must haves. And when I ran AM, it was never correct to click it even though the enemy had multiple storms. So I just decided with my playstyle, the other techs seemed to be better

its a good tech on paper though, just never seemed to be in a situation where it was good for me

You don't even use the loose formation on crawlers? Before the patch it was hyped as the best tech in the game.

I use crawlers very aggressively, dont't want the enemy to replicate me. It's pretty strong against some units like typhoon and sledges

well the mustang is a lot stronger this patch. They do way more earlier in the game, level up faster and if you pick up an item it's going to be a very strong unit. Mustang has been one of the best late game units in the game for a long time. The problem recently has been how to scale it without dying.

Thank you for you reply, I basically agree with all you pointer out. Mustang is a good unit, can have multiple purposes and has fair weakneses/counters. But going as far as puting meta label near it is in my opinion a bit of a flex. Hence the joke as a comment.
