I sold my Mustang Micro (after using it for two years) and bought a Micro Plus. I am happy with the Plus, mainly because of the display and the tone app. I did not like messing with the card and LEDs on the old Micro.

It is very easy to understand. The dog doll that appears in the middle of the video is also cute. Thank you!

I wonder if this would fit a strandberg with the recessed input jack?
@OllieLoops5 күн бұрын
Good question. I know it works on strat style recessed input jacks. And it may work on the Strandberg. Worse case scenario, you can get a 1/4" female to 1/4" female barrel connector and use it in conjunction with a 1/4" instrument cable. I show how to do this in my video about recording the Fender Mustang Micro. Hope that helps.

Are you able to connect headphones via Bluetooth or do you need to plug them into the device..? Thanks Judd
@OllieLoops17 күн бұрын
Hey Judd. Thanks for your comment. You have to connect headphones directly to the device. Hope that helps.
@michaeldean722015 күн бұрын
You cannot use Bluetooth headphones because of latency.
@OllieLoops15 күн бұрын
@michaeldean7220 Bluetooth latency is an issue, but with this device it's more that it lacks the interface to select bluetooth headphones as an output device. It's not designed to be used with wireless or bluetooth headphones.

can you use the amp without headphones as well?
@OllieLoops2 күн бұрын
Good question. The Micro does not have a speaker built in. But, you can connect it to a portable speaker with an 1/8" to 1/8" cable and use it without headphones. Hope that helps.

Great content . Does Bluetooth stay always on ? Or can you turn it off while the device is still on ? thanks .
@OllieLoops18 күн бұрын
Thanks. I believe it is always broadcasting the Bluetooth signal. But it may not always be paired. Hope that helps.

I am looking for a system to connect the guitar, without cables, to the mobile phone or tablet, using bluetooth. Is this mini amplifier valid for this? Thanks in advance.
@OllieLoops3 күн бұрын
Hey, thanks for your comment. If you just want to stream music from your phone or tablet to the Micro via bluetooth, then yes, this is a good option. If you want to stream from the Micro to your phone or table to record, you won't be able to do that without cables. Hope that helps.

If the software doesnt have built in drivers, like th-u, etc, they will need the drivers. Maybe microsoft will include them systemwide in 2077, Windows 24.

Something I noticed with original is that there seemed to be some kind of noise gate that cuts off when a note is strummed. Is that still an issue with the Plus?
@OllieLoops23 күн бұрын
I agree there could be a noise gate built into it. But in my experience with the device, I haven't noticed notes being cut off. Regular single coil noise comes through with certain presets. It could be with some amp simulations, higher gain amps don't trigger the gate.
@pictureskew23 күн бұрын
@@OllieLoops it’s not that the notes cut off. It’s that a layer of ground noise suddenly comes in as soon as you strum. I’ve never had amp emulations do that to me before
@OllieLoops23 күн бұрын
Oh, that's odd. When you play through a regular amp, or record to a computer via interface, do you get ground noise? The Mustang Micro may have a compressor as well which could amplify ground noise after you strum.
@neightmorris20 күн бұрын
@@pictureskewdid you ever update the firmware? That fixed the issue for me on the original.

The classic bassman is one of the amps on the Plus. But I hear you, it would be awesome for more bass focused amps and effects. Firmware update!

I’m curious, what’s the issue on Android?
@blessedfpv735712 күн бұрын
@OllieLoops the Fender tone app is locked in the landscape mode ever since the previous update. Lots of people are frustrated with the change since it makes holding your phone one-handed to adjust settings near impossible.
@OllieLoops12 күн бұрын
thanks for that info. yeah, hopefully they fix that as it seems annoying.
@Yellowshark3311 күн бұрын
@@blessedfpv7357 Exactly. The previous versions were perfectly suited for a phone. They've basically turned it into Netflix. In landscape, when I search for a tone and call up the keyboard, it's the size of a postage stamp. smh. On top of that, it forces all other apps into landscape which is bizarre. You have to close it to get your other open apps back to normal.
