At current exchange rates that's the equivalent of around US$95,000. A lot of that is government duties/taxes and then there's the cost of right hand drive conversion. Converters must be specially licenced (a costly process to go through) and they charge around US$26,000 for the conversion. Aussie Mustang owners are a very keen bunch!

Yes, it's law here. A car 30 years old or more can be fully registered LHD but anything newer must be converted to RHD.

He said it has a 4-speed auto, it should have a 5R55S 5-speed auto.

2006 mustang cost 19,000 US dollars .... in us lol well i think ... ford should start there own coversion kits here in austrlia ... these bunch of looser are ripping us off.
