Mustang V6 to V8 swap | Pick-N-Pull Haul

I’m pulling one tomorrow I’ve already disconnected engine stuff did you all spent time unbolting the trans under the car? Or just removed the crossmember an remove the trans out the car ?

We pulled the engine and trans all at once and when we had the assembly out in the open we took off the trans

I just got a new edge on a swap and Need on auto transmission

Just about any junkyard my guy. 4R70s are in a lot of fords rwd cars. Not to mention there is a ton of mustangs in the junkyards right now. Mostly v6 but you stumble across a few GTs time to time

What all do you need i want to do this to my v6 do you have a list?

I do not have a list but I can tell you it is far easier to find a wrecked GT and take everything from it and swap it into your v6. You will need all the wiring, gauge cluster, engine, trans, driveshaft, rear end, ecu, key and ignition, radiator etc. basically everything but the shell 😅

@@The_Project_Pitt thank you for the response!! Ive seen some guys use the crown vic v8s or coyote swap a v6 but was wondering if anyone had like really detailed specifics. Thank you i will prob look for a wrecked gt then

@@juanyanez755 yes any of the 4.6 engines can be swapped in. Even the 3v from 05-up mustang gt and 4v from navigators and aviators. the original goal for this car was to get a 4.6 4v from a Aviator that is basically the same engine from the new edge Mach 1 with the good C heads but finding a salvage yard with one around me proved impossible

Got put on hold. Had too much stuff going on to finish. Car and engine has been collecting dust.
