2:40 I've used it on maps that have repeating segments. As an example, I have a team deathmatch map and all of the hallways, hallway corners, and respawn areas are identical to keep the map somewhat fair. Instead of building each area four times on different rotations, I built them each as a level instance and then copied those instances to save time. As a bonus, if I ever want to change something about these areas, I can change it in one of the instances and the same change is automatically applied to the other instances. Pretty neat imo

Not related to the video but we NEED more options on the advanced Storm Device. Currently the Storm Device only has a couple of phase 1 radiuses, and they even skip over the 150M! It goes from 100 straight to 200. I really hope they eventually implement more features to it

Yeah, the Storm Device(s) we have are like, SUPER outdated, they're all from like, the start of Creative mode and haven't been changed much since. The Devices either need a total rehaul or just a new better version of them like how some old devices are getting modern better versions. They could add some cool settings like giving us the Water Storm from the Device Event or just letting us choose the colours of the storm. Oh, and why not make the Storm do 0 damage so we can use it just for visuals?

Not everyone can turn their frame rate past 60, or even 30... The RNG device also has the ability to send out channels if stepped on pre-game. Perception Triggers sending out channels when the player looks at them is definitely more useful than sending out channels when they see the player. The Pickaxe Range Multiplier is used for a lot more than you would think. Murder Mystery maps use it sometimes, and I used it for a few of my own maps, including a Drivers vs Snipers with Icy Feet instead of Cars. I actually prefer the new timer because of its ability to give each player an individual timer. Following that is the Timed Objective, because it's user-friendly and looks cool. I only ever use the old timer for the siren sound it makes. I rarely use the VFX Spawner, and when I do, it's mostly for the Sound. The Store State Per Player setting is much more useful for Personal Tracking than Saving its State between matches. You can give players Achievements, Missions, and even Settings that only They can see and interact with.

Store State Per Player doesn’t make the Switch Device save it’s state, it just makes the Switch interact with each player separately. So someone could turn it on, but a different player would still see it as off.

The trick with HOLDING the button to reset the state, also works with size. So you can get back to the default size of an object quickly.

3:19 With the new update on multi-selection, if you don't rotate your pieces you can copy a multi-select just fine without a build piece. It does get messed up if you start rotating. I would however not put them in your quick bar, since that could affect the position where it's placed sometimes. Also. for your build piece trick. If you don't put it in your quick bar, and just copy it normally, you will have fewer issues with aligning it correctly (since the selection doesn't get thrown to Africa).

I used the RNG device + a sequencer device loop + triggers to create custom "vaulted" chests that can randomly be enabled / disabled between rounds / matches Only issue is that, to ensure it works, the loop takes a bit of time. Probably gonna have to make some kind of "spawn island" area, so that players have something to do while it loads XD

Yeah, though the Island Settings I believe let it work even when the sun/ moon is moving, so you can make the environment be a certain colour/ whatever, and STILL have a proper day and night cycle you don't have to make yourself.

Hey mustard I found a cool thing for builders so with the new bamboo that we got if you put it far under your map the top part of the leaves will stick out giving it a good plant vibe but the only problems with this are that you can shoot but the bullets will just a random hit box on it and if you don't put the bamboo far enough in the ground you will be stepping on a random hit box its sort of like a small barrier I guess but overall it's a really good thing for pro builders it looks nice I need a creator code to publish some of my maps but have no way of doing so

The time of day settings aren't really needed since you can just rotate the Device to place the sun/ moon of the device anywhere. Giving a time of day setting would just confuse it, how would the Sun/ Moon rotate now? Does it rotate the way it always has? Or does it rotate along the axis of the device?

Well a not so huge but a problem of creative users is that if they get in trouble some dont even ask anybody for help And reddit is well a good and a bad place it just has alot of "weird users" if you know what i mean 😅 But the reddit is Awesome because you can get a List of the problem solvings But ofcourse its time consuming and people sometimes ignore the "Question" tag and its a problem because fortnite discord and fortntite creative discirds... are somewhat offline/not active and sometimes ignore or thats my experience
