Mutable Stages patch ideas (drum machine, bitcrusher, arpeggiator, sequential switch)

I'm new to modular, just started my first rack about 6 weeks ago (Stages, Frames, Marbles, Blinds, Links). Other manufacturers will join in, but I love the MI range and felt they were the right starting point. Amazing functionality and the firmware hacks are packed with amazing stuff (Frames Parasite especially) So, after 5 weeks of all function modules sitting in the rack, waiting to be awoken, Plaits and Ripples arrived a few days ago, so I hooked them up and started looking for some patching ideas, now that my rack had voices at last. The 1010 Bitbox Mkii is also on the way, ready to be brought to life by Marbles t-side as my main drum section. While looking for patch ideas, I found this, and all was fine until you got to the drum machine section, and suddenly a switch flipped in my head. The routing made so much sense, I realized how I could connect Marbles/Stages/Frames all together, combining triggers and envelopes and sequencing, and everything would connect to the Bitbox, but not just gates triggering the pads, but enveloped gates, so I can control the shapes of the drum samples too. That just hadn't occurred to me yet, as I am so new to this. This video was a really big help. I kinda don't wanna take out the cables before Bitbox arrives, but I know I will, so I've taken photos of the concept patch, so I can come back to it again soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Very cool, fortunate that I have these modules. I've been wanting to challenge myself to get more use out of Stages bc I know it can be very versatile, as youve demonstrated. Id been using it for LFOs most of the time so I switched it to the harmonic oscillator mode recently. Its a fun easter egg for sure, but after seeing this Im ready to get deeper in Stages modulation capabilities. Thanks for this !

My favorite use for Stages so far has been to take up hp in my case. I sometimes use it as an LFO, but the LFOs are all so fast... Anyway. Thanks. I willl try these suggestions and maybe learn. Aside from currently being in recovery from a brain injury that makes certain concepts that would have been simple, difficult to grasp, I have a feeling that this module is not exactly intuitive. Thanks for the video.

Perhaps put the lfo's through an attenuator/attenuvertor for fine control before patching them on to your destination?

I know this is old, but if you send a negative voltage to the time and level jack for the LFO you can make it super slow.
