This was very well put together and well thought out as it relates to retro sports games. Great job! I'll have to play Mutant League Hockey more to see if I agree, but it's definitely a little on teh sluggish side. Look forward to more of these from you.

Well thank you! The game is quite sluggish. There were many times where multiple players were just skating around the puck trying to get it. I think this game is fun just for the chaos and violence, but you may be bored before the third period. Definitely check it out and let us know what you think!

Fun fact MLF didnt really use the madden engine. The creator said he made it's own separate engine for MLF. Idk about MLH though I just ordered it myself can't wait for it to get delivered. Great video though man really well put together.

Dont forget there was a cartoon for this too! I see people rate this game saying controls are sticky etc... that isnt why u rented this game as a kid. U wanted pure hockey get nhl. This was a fun take with the same camera layout and play controls as nhl but with aliens and weapons!! Think about that.. what an amazing game! Totally niche.

I own a CiB copy of this game, and I don't believe that it runs in the NHL94 engine. I have that game too in my modest collection, and they do not fill remotely the same. MLH has a ton of charm and character and I wish that they would modernise it like they did with MLF -> MFL, but the actual hockey gameplay is not comparable.

I can't figure out why anyone would pay big money for this game. It's horrible!!! Seriously just play it and get back to me. The controls are horrible. Yes the humor is great but the game play is absolutely atrocious! Nhl 94 set the standard. This game does not have the same programmer and it definitely shows.

I had all the nhls and played the crap out of em. This was the best cause it was still my fav sport but it was all violence and imagination that a boy loves.
