Don’t worry about negative comments like that I watch several other youtubers that cut open eggs so their snakes don’t drown in the egg. Cutting eggs gives the snakes a better chance at making it if they don’t end up with a tooth to cut the egg or get to tired and die because they can’t get out fast enough! So, you’re doing what you need to, to make sure they at least get the chance at life!! I love your videos some people just think they know it all and like to spread hate and cause issues!!

All my eggs so far I have cut a few days early. I’ve watched so many of your videos and observed how you cut your eggs. All of my snakes have came out of their own and have great feeding responses! You have amazing healthy looking snakes man. I just purchased a 8 month old male od firefly and he's just under 2 foot and only 200g. Seems like some breeders just maintenance feed their young ones on pinkies and pups and the snakes don't grow like they could. I appreciate the fact that you care enough to actually help the snake grow and be as healthy as they can.

Personally, before my 1st clutch arrived a couple months ago I was watching everybody and their brother's vids to see how they did things when it came to egg cutting because I knew that was going to be how I did things. All 6 are doing great and ready to have their 1st shed & meal this week! (For the record, your method is how I chose to cut my 1st clutch, and will continue with my next two clutches coming!). Thank you for the education that helped me get to this exciting point!

It's pretty annoying, if you cut or don't cut it doesn't affect me one bit so why should I tell you to do it or not do it? I had someone the other day tell me "the snakes you have that won't take FT just aren't hungry enough - stop feeding them live and they'll eventually take FT" which I of course thought was absolutely stupid. The only reason I cut early is because I am impatient and want to see what I created. After doing this for many years, I noticed the animals were doing fine if not better that waiting for them to come out on their own, so I have continued to do so. That simple.
