Honestly, great tutorial man! It's such a small thing not a lot of people know about, but once they do it's so useful. Although, gonna be honest here, I myself did it a lil differently. Instead of merging everything into 1 mesh, I have multiple skin parts which I switch between using those custom properties. It basically eliminates the whole messing around with vertex groups and modifiers and stuff. Anyhow, like I said, great tutorial! Hopefully more people will use this for models now lol.
