Gona the days in the early 90's when we did not use Computers or laptops unless u where studying computer information systems or computer Science. Today almost everybody at the university has laptops. Both universities UCT and WITS are one off the two best uni in Africa.

Hahahaha hi Sbu! Even just as far back as 2011 when I started my undergrad, I started the program without a laptop and it was an engineering program. I couldn't cope though because laptop was a fundamental requirement of engineering programs and my mom kindly gave me her brand new laptop she had saved up for. Thanks for watching, Sbu

Yeah, it's quite developed but not all parts of South Africa (or Cape Town) are like this. There are still places where the majority of people are living way below the poverty line, lots of crime and so on - just like any other developing (or developed) country

I wish KZbin had a voicenote comment option. I have a lot to say 🤣🤣. Furstofallll when I saw the dark and lovely, I got flashback PTSD from when they fried my scalp in Ntarinkon Bamenda when I used to relax. For some reason my scalp just never took relaxers well no matter the mildness of the relaxer. I ended up using the children relaxers and just after a few minutes my scalp would burn and bleed. That frightened me away from relaxing. Then the natural hair got too much to handle and was breaking and then I just had to shave all together 😂. Honestly when it comes to hair I always say go with what’s most easy to handle at the time. Actually looked cute how you styled it toward the end of the vidéo errand runs. 😊✨. Y’a a fine babes Abeg hair or no hair 💃🏾

Dear, pls I was wondering! How do you film with an iPhone then transfer for editing to a laptop! I tried but I just didn’t know how to go about it😂

My dear Lawna, it was a terrible process I tell you. This is my first time using an iPhone and it took me about 1 week to transfer the clips to my laptop. Everyday, I will transfer 2 or 3 and then wait for the laptop and iPhone to rest before I try again the next day

I connect the phone to my laptop using a USB cable and make sure that the phone is unlocked. The phone appears under “This PC/My Computer” the way a USB drive normally would. Thats how I enter the phone storage and try to copy the files. The trick is to copy one at a time and to make sure that when filming, you stop every now and then so that the files aren’t too large. Whenever I tried to copy more than 3 at a time, the entire thing will crash and I will have to restart the computer before it even agrees to copy from the iPhone again. I went through this over and over for more than a week before getting all the clips into my laptop. When it crashes or refuses to copy, i just go ahead to edit the couple of clips that managed to copy and then try again later.I usually copy without an issue from my iPad to my Laptop so when buying this iPhone, I thought it would be just as smooth but noooo. I’m still looking for a better solution because as we speak, I have another full vlog that I filmed on my phone but I can’t edit because I’m just discouraged from even start that transfer process because of how complicated it is.
