I think you are talking about the saddle stitching machine! They give you hand sewing look! (If you need to do a lot that helps)

Love your hand sticking and your finished pants. I work with wool and you do a lot of similar stitches. Do you ever use the wrong side of the fabric with the loops as your outer fabric. . I find your machine awesome. Thanks Louise

I've been looking for such a thread for my work for a very long time, but in my country there is simply no seller of such threads in terms of quality and thickness :( I envy you a little :))) you have very interesting work. Amazing work, I've been studying boro and sashiko for a while but haven't done a large project like this yet. However, I think you've motivated me to give it a try. Can I ask what weights you're using to hold the patterns down?

The weight is not for holding a pattern normally. The weight I use is the bottom part of eyelet die set. So you can use pretty much anything!
