@@judygacheri9303 You mean vows? Any faith that makes people to hv vows is either religious or cultic. Christianity is not a religion but a religion between man and God. God and His children. It's a family of God. God been the Father and born again believers His children John 1:12.. God knows that human beings are weak in fulling the vows. Let God be true and every man a liar. God's children, the born again believers are not of the law. Christ fulfilled the law on our behalf once and for all. He knew that no human being can fulfil the law except God Himself alone. That's why christ was given to fulfil the law on our behalf his death, burial and resurrection. He resurrected with us as new creation church of Christ.Evn naturally, no father makes his children to vow. He knows that they can break the vows and it won't be well with them. He loves his children unconditionally despite of failures and weaknesses. Religion is so dangerous and demanding. It's slavery and enemy to God. It's full of self righteousness rather than the grace of God in christ Jesus It reduces the sacrifice of Christ to vanity. Christ's yoke is easy. We dnt need to do anything to please God otherwise even when we are yet sinners christ christ died for us. We serve or do the work of the ministry as responsible children in the family of our father bt not thro fear of vows or to please God. The only thing that pleases God is to trust christ who is God Himself and who we're created in. St. Matthew 5:33 "Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ’Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’ St. Matthew 5:34 But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; St. Matthew 5:35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. St. Matthew 5:36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. St. Matthew 5:37 All you need to say is simply ’Yes’ or ’No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.. 🤷‍♀️
