When you get back to the other world... you're going to be forced to deal with the fact that people WILL die as a result of your actions, again and again... And not due to causality, either... If you want to achieve your objective, you'll have to accept that it's going to cost other people their lives. And probably not just a few. And when it happens, you're going to start feeling more torn between your mission and your ethics than you've ever been before. Will you really be able to deal with that, I wonder? When things start falling apart... will you still be able to make the hard decisions that will save the world, however cruel they might be? If I could, I'd gladly go in your stead... I wish I could bring Marimo back... with my own two hands...! And yet, unfortunately... restoring order to all the worlds you've bent out of shape... is something only you, as the causality conductor, can do! And if you don't have what it takes to do that... there's no point in me sending you back. If you don't recognize the weight of that responsibility... you have no right to go back. So tell me... do you still want to go?

One of the absolute best tracks that endures throughout the trilogy.

It's deeply powerful to listen to this song when you need to come back and, this time, be better, responsible and maintain your focus when you make a mistake. This song was the emotional comeback theme.

Yuuko: "You’re going to save humanity, right?" Takeru: "Yes." Yuuko: "And you want to do it with your own strength, right?" Takeru: "I will… all on my own." "She’s right. It’s not about whether we can or can’t. We simply have to do it."
It was, in the original version. For whatever reason the Steam version eliminated it in every instance except for the Yuuko ending of Unlimited. They didn't even include it in the jukebox extras feature. Completely baffling. I understood why they had to get rid of "Livin' La Vida Muv Luv" for copyright issues, but the replacement of this track makes no sense whatsoever. It was originally used in Extra, when Takeru and Tsukuyomi are having their conversation about him having to choose between Sumika and Meiya. The one where they're on the hill behind the school. The second instance was in Unlimited, when Takeru was doing the Comprehensive Combat Skill Evaluation on the island. When he was having his fevered epiphany, this track played. And it also played later in Muv Luv Unlimited, during the Mt. Tengen incident. When the old woman revealed that her two sons had already been killed in battle, this plays. The Steam version replaced it with the slow, sentimental "music box" track instead (titled A World Worth Protecting). Which is still a decent track, but has nowhere near the emotional impact that this one does.

@@mr.battle20 that’s really unfortunate, those scenes would’ve been a lot more impactful if this track was present. I love the one they used to replace but like you said, it doesn’t really hold a candle to this

I'm really late, but if you download the 18+ pack for extra and unlimited (The patch add sex scene for the two game) this sounds play during the final moment in yuuko ending. I think it plays at other place, but I can't remember.

In the original version this track played a lot more than just the one instance in Yuuko's ending. For whatever reason the Steam version eliminated it in every instance except for the Yuuko ending of Unlimited (EDIT: and right before the sex scene in Meiya's Extra ending, not sure why I forgot about that one). They didn't even include it in the jukebox extras feature. Completely baffling. @@thespectator5259 In the original version this track played in multiple scenes. I have absolutely no clue why they eliminated it in every instance except for the Yuuko ending. The Steam version made some very baffling changes, and this was one of them. One of the best tracks practically eliminated from the game. (And it's not even included in the jukebox).
