@@Walk_with_Efren Oh... and about that 200 km coastal route you mentioned... I did a little research. This is what I found: www.caminodosfaros.com/en/ It's called O Camiño dos Faros (The Lighthouse Way) and the sceenary is really breathetaking. You should look into it when you find time. Maybe it becomes a part of your future Caminos. It would be really great for us all to see your footage of that beautiful strech of the world. Really know what you mean when you talk about Fisterra. For me, Santiago was always the goal and it was amazing to arrive there after 137 days of walking. But the last 100 km to Fisterra and the place itself with the endpoint at the lighthouse with the ocean was beautiful too. It was just the perfect way for me to say goodbye to the camino. Really a special and peacafull place. I knew back then that this wont be my last camino, so I decided not to go to Muxia and safe it for my other camino. Hopefully next year the camino portuguese ;) Buen Camino Efren

I stayed in Fisterra late November 2016 after my Camino frances, and it was straight up one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. I think I walked away with less faith after my journey. We're seeing these amazing churches with gorgeous interiors. They're filled with stolen gold from the Americas in dirt poor towns that could really use some money. I did not see God on my pilgrimage, only reminders of the history of darkness in Man despite the friendly natures of the people I met. Really, the gold in these churches were sickening especially knowing how it was accumulated.

@@TheAwkwardSoloTravellerhi. I've watched several camino vids, including Efren's. I think it depends on what you're looking for. If you want to have lots of pilgrim support (albergue, food stops, etc) then choose the Frances. It's also the most popular - many ppl esp if peak months. If you have ~2 wks & you want fewer ppl, you can choose the Portuguese. If only 1 week, you can do the Ingles or from Tui (Portuguese) or Sarria (Frances). It will also depend on your fitness level. Efren can walk 25 to 40 km/ day but some take it slower. You can also choose the VDLP, Primitivo or Norte if you want fewer ppl & more challenge. Safe travels. Buen camino!
