Nobody is talking about his simplicity. I saw him walking freely on the street in Oke Ado in the 90s in a simple T-shirt, trousers, and glasses. People came and shouted Ige, Ige...While in UI, by coincidence I lived with my brother on the same Osuntokun street where he was murdered. I love Ige's simplicity. The same simplicity gave him up to the enemies of Nigeria. Ige was the only alternative to Awolowo then. Obasanjo and the Nigerian system failed Chief Bola Ige.

I was young while Uncle Bola was our governor. He delivered a speech at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan on children day. We loved him. My Mum calls the wife aunty Tinuke. Okeowo's house is near my grandfathers house in Aremo. Injustice didnt just start today in Nigeria. A sitting Justice of the Appeal Court was denied justice. This injustice has silently killed those who couldn't speak out while those who speak out like DF are victimized.

The brilliance of late Chief Bola Ige shine through Muyiwa Ige in this outstanding historical interview. A true deep Thinker, not bragging, not a noisemaker. Thank goodness we still have intellectuals among us & not a situation whereby they result into "dancing" because they're intellectually bankrupt. In 1981, my father took me along with him to visit late Chief Bola Ige (when he was Governor of the old Oyo State). I vividly remember him as a brilliant & outstanding Governor. All those people who committed the heinous crime against him will never know PEACE till their end. From London, UK

Wow!!!!!When we hear horror stories about our country and the brutality of fellow Nigerians, we often think people are being cynical or exaggerating. But this is a real-life example that reveals the total depravity of mankind-the darkness, the callousness, and the twisted mindset of the average person. It’s heartbreaking, truly devastating. My heart aches, and my mind struggles to process the sheer cruelty captured in this interview. I can’t believe this actually happened. It’s horrifying, horrific, and beyond words. Sometimes I wonder if God is still allowing us to suffer the consequences of the evil perpetrated by men and women in this country. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. May God have mercy on us as a nation, bring justice to the wicked, and heal those affected by the terrible acts of darkness we see around us. God, please intervene and let righteousness prevail in this land.
