Hey Muyo, I think it would be very helpful to add a bit of context to the two kinds of maps that exist. You see, Supercell usually creates new maps for new gamemodes or brings back maps made by the developers. Those maps don't have a heart button next to them so that means they're made by the brawl team. Most of these maps... well, they don't have a lot of thought put into them since the brawl team doesn't usually focus on maps but rather on the new features for each update (brawlers, game rework, skins, etc.) Now, the maps with a blue heart button next to their names showcase the creator. These are called community maps, and are made by regular players not associated with Supercell. What an enormous percentage of the playerbase doesn't know is that these maps come from a SINGLE discord server called Brawl Craft, and literally any player can participate in official mapmaking contests and shape the rotation if their map gets added. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the bounty map back in beta that had one exit leading out of spawn. If you got the star with mortis and had barley and dynamike protected the passage in the back you could just camp for free wins. That is a actual bad map instead of cavern churn’s problem of not following the conversation 3v3 meta

I think one thing that should be noted is that many of these older maps required a different mindset to build, as quite a few were added BEFORE the brawlers that broke them (to give an example, Substitute was added far before Grom). Nevertheless, the design of the maps being questionable to begin with is just a sign that the dev team did struggle to find a balance between a fair map for every brawler and "Ricochet or Ruffs on this map or auto-lose on the spot."

TLDR maps with their own smaller meta aren’t enjoyed by the majority of players and are ranted about on Reddit. I think most of the maps in the video are good because they give space for objectively worse brawlers to fight the top dogs. Some however… yeah props to the devs for staying experimental and eliminating the bad to make a better future. Oh right tldr, sorry XD
