Bro every time I'm reminded of yoroichi I just can't fathom how much of a beast he is. Like it took hours of fighting,the entire demon slayers corps,people acting as human shields,poisons and preplanning and still the only real plan was to hold out until the sun comes up. But yoroichi literally just pulled up to muzan and cut him down,no planning,no backup,nothing to weaken him.

Lets also not forget that Yoriichi scared Muzan *so badly* that he *never* showed his face in public without *some kind* of disguise or cover and practically created the Lower and Upper Moons just to make sure he would never have a random encounter with someone like Yoriichi again and have his underlings do everything while he hid and researched the Blue Spider Lily. Not lore accurate, but somewhat when looking in the urban dictionary. He created the upper and lower ranks so they can occupy provinces and widen his search. For the lily.. He's been searching for thousand years... He realize he alone can't do it no more,he himself stopped actively looking and employeed demons to do same, while he researched it. The issue with his research is tht what he's looking for blooms once every couple decades at a specific place and only at day time.... i think what's beautiful abt the whole kimetsu universe is how it realistically potrays consequences into real life terms. alot of events in the world happen but is slowly eradicated via the natural progression of time and the changes that happen in the world. like WW1 & WW2 its beautiful and organic which i truly appreciate

I never made that connection, but it's so obvious. Yoriichi's mom prayed to Amaterasu every day because Yoriichi was nonverbal up to age 11 and they thought he was deaf. Thus the earrings. But he wasn't actually deaf, he just hadn't had the wish to talk yet.
