(no spoilers dw!) 10:30 aha good catch! this child who betrayed everyone is actually, if you can remember, Zenitsu's elder mate when he was learning thunder breathing, that used to bully him. 12:13 just to briefly clarify: yes this demon isn't a moon, just a random one 🥲 13:30 in fact in the manga, a special fact page have been dedicated to sayo saying : "sayo was speaking abt the demon and not himejima. Unfortunately, as the demon disappeared, and as a little girl traumatized, she struggled to explain herself, and didn't achieve to innocent himejima. Today, aged of 14, she feels terrible about it and still deeply wants to apologize to him." PS: you guys have actually quite good theories :)

"Nice to meet you" is the usual translation of "hajimemashite", which is what you usually say to someone you meet for the first time. But the Japanese word has nothing like "nice" on it. It's just focusing on "it is the first time". The word "hajimete" is the one used for "first time"

I think him saying hello to Muzan was not that weird its just a mutual enemies thing. They're both leaders, it's ironic cus Muzan strolls in like yea game over but Ubu is already a dying man, so he's not scared. Muzan can see that & can only throw in a jab like "oh you look hideous" while he thinks he's perfection.

The butterfly estate that they usually heal/train isn’t at the same place as the ubuyashiki estate. The demon slayer corps grounds are huge. Every hashira has their own estate near it but not necessarily “next door”. They make it seem like that, but it’s not the case

27:32 The Butterfly Mansion, which belongs to Shinobu, and is probably where Nezuko is, is away from the HQ mansion, where Master Kagaya Ubuyashiki is at… if you remember back in Season One, the Kakushi piggybacked Tanjiro to the Butterfly Mansion. Good point, Ron, about Tanjiro not saying anything about sniffing Zenitsu’s blood. I mean, Tanjiro could tell that the boy with the marechi blood (in the Tsuzumi Mansion arc) smelled differently, and he was a good distance away from the room. It seems like an oversight by the author (or Ufotable, if they changed things from the manga).

9:36 Regarding your speculative discussion initially about the demon attacking Gyomei and the kids being an Upper Moon. I guess you’ve forgotten, but prior to Rengoku fighting Upper Moon 3 (Akaza), they said in Season One that none of the current Hashira had encountered an Upper Moon. Second, in Episode 26, Muzan told the Lower Moons that the Upper Moons had not changed for over a hundred years. In addition, if you remember the end of Season Two, you saw Douma as Upper Moon Six at the time, and he looked exactly the same as he looks now. And the demon in Gyomei’s flashback doesn’t really resemble any of the Upper Moons. If Gyomei had encountered an Upper Moon before he became trained as a demon hunter, he would not be living today. You also noticed the boy with the neckband with the magatama pendant, but if you rewatch Season One, Episode 17, you may see the same neckband there…

Just wanted to add If you remember from season 2 when Tengen and Gyutaro are talking and Gyuatru says some people are born strong and Tengen says how he got strong through hard work and then he mentions some demon slayers are blessed with power from the beginning. Then it shows Muichiro and Gyomei and funny enough both Muichiro and Gyomie's backstories are very similar. They are both people who have never fought before in their lives but in the heat of the moment they were both able to completely destroy a demon 1v1 with no weapons. They both even screamed and lost control and tortured their respective demons until day break. I thought that was really cool ! :)

Whenever they say an episode is "x" amount of time they are specifically talking about the timeslot. So 40 minutes means with ads included, so the actual episode runtime would be around 30 minutes. This goes for next week as well. A "60" minute episode is roughly a 50~ minute episode.
