And since you posted this, the repo rate has been increased many times, so your advice is even more relevant in August 2023. And because of the increase in the cost of the car, that monthly installment is probably now around R5 000 a month! Let's hope people took that advice and purchased their Swfit - low price, low insurance cost and low fuel costs.

Great video My Brother I drive a Golf 7.5 GTI and a Suzuki Ciaz, and I will be honest the Suzuki is amazing and I was never ready for this shock. I drove my GTI from new for 4 years before I got the Suzuki and I thought no other under powered car will do, but somehow I never complain with the power of the Ciaz as it’s just enough and it’s got impressive leg room, a comfortable drive and stupidly very low fuel consumption. Now the GTI is simply my Friday car.

I drive a 2018 Suzuki Dzire,the GA model that has the same power output,I switched from 165/70 R14 to 185/65 14,I must say the handling has improved so good,you should try it, I don't know how many times I've pushed this car,trust me it's good but the consumption is slightly high with those 185/65 R14,damn the pull away is just so good,I think if you push it can be more than 61kw.

Not sure regarding the nimble part…it’s just manageable. I drove a Grand i10 recently (2023) and that thing shifted properly…was a rental car but it was really quick for a 1.2. Will certainly leave my Swift 1.2 Glx in its dust

(165/80 R14) wheels have higher Sidewall Height Inches when compared to (185/70 R14), already the Suzuki has a high floating roof design adding to its height and overall affecting handling. It would make sense why the 185/70 R14 could have a positive impact on the handling. Great video as always Sambo Mankani wakubhabeli Makhaleni Bomatikitiki👏🏾
@mprinsgsxr2 жыл бұрын
165/80 sidewall height is 132mm and 185/70 sidewall is 130mm so just about the same. The slight improvement on stability is because the185's are 20mm wider ;-)

The progressive comrade made the suggestion after extensive research, online tyresize calculator and discussions with tyre fitment centres. 185/70/14 and 165/80/14 are very close regarding tyre diameter, sidewall height and wont influence Speedometer and safety. Only difference is it looks better and handles better, more stable. 185 option also more readily available and cheaper than the weird 165/80/14 standard size. Great review and very accurate in terms of what I experience with it. Lack of auto lock is only thing I worry about with ladies or our loved ones using it and forgetting to lock.
