1st of all how do you know he uses sync, 2nd of all who cares? Even Andy C uses technology like quantization these days.

None of my sets are pre-recorded or planned out - 80% of my blends are on the fly and based on crowd/setting/set time. I use sync as a tool, which is what most DJ's do, utilising the technology. Not all my blends are synced, but some of them indeed are and there is nothing wrong with that - it's a tool and it gives way to a better performance. Yes, I'm no Andy C, and never admitted to being like Andy C and using 3 deck vinyl etc. It's like with music production - I create all my samples from scratch including my own drum breaks, wheras a lot of producers will just use a think break or something. Doesn't make them any less of a great artist for doing so. I don't think the medium is what matters. Just my opinion :)
