When I came to the UK one of my goals was to find this on vinyl. So glad I did. One of the greatest moments of this song Ive witnessed was at InnerSoul, the whole audience sang the whole song at the top of their lungs, Conrad wasnt in the building, but boy, I tell you if he was there for that, people were banging on the roof!!! I hope theres a recording of that, to see what a huge impact drum n bass music had on every soul in the room it was electric and a magical experience I only just remembered now, Hope I never forget that. To Mc Conrad, the man is a genre himself. Etched his sound into the souls of many. Long live Mc Conrads Memory!

One of the best to ever do it, his unique deep voice will live on through his music. Stronger together than apart his partnership with Bukem pioneered a new sound that was called intelligent back then and took it worldwide to a whole new audience. Five Alive taking it hard at the end bless him. Bet Conrad had a lot of close friends in the scene. Very sad. I loved Conrad’s performances, saw him loads with Bukem and Nookie Makoto and the GLR crew. Also his colabs with DRS at progression sessions were epic. Think my fav was the DRS and Conrad sessions as they worked so well together. Conrad is defo unmatched though. Gone but not forgotten. No one else can match that power of his voice. Gutted he’s gone ❤

Conrad's voice was pure liquid. A friend of mine in San Diego (Calculon) who's worked with him and Bukem told me before I'd even found out and I'm UK based. I was truly gutted. The best in the business.

... top lad is Chris. Was lucky insofar as I did pirate radio (Impact FM, Stevenage) with him in the late 90s. He'd turn up in the most amazing, one-off, jumpers! He shocked me one evening, I thought he was out and out jungle / jump up, and I only really played GLR etc stuff at that time. Chris would always play a blinder and one set he said "tell ya, this is my favourite kind of music". I'd give anything to still have just one of those tapes. Great days, blessed.
