we are all happy that the financial situation now seems to have vastly improved. If I were to buy a motorcycle again I would go for the MV Brutale 800 (as I would go WAY too fast on public road on the F3).
@francescovalentini2932 Жыл бұрын
@@NisseOhlsen it’s not like the Brutale 800 is slow…
@NisseOhlsen Жыл бұрын
@@francescovalentini2932 I never thought it was, Franceso. That much I do understand. For sure it's faster than both the Mille R and the CBR 600 RR I've had-. But going faster on a 'carenata' is just easier, since they work better the faster you ride. In reality, I am more of an F3 than a Brutale guy. I also think it is more elegant. But I also end up going more than double the legal speed limit on public roads. So I end up having to chose between the race track and chaos. So I think the Brutale would suit me from that perspective.
@francescovalentini2932 Жыл бұрын
@@NisseOhlsen I tend to agree. The Brutale 800 is like a mid range super naked, extremely fun, sexy, and fast, but comfortable enough to travel on. Super fun!

No ce tour, a mate of mine from back in Scotland bought a Ducati from a mate of his who had a dealership in Newcastle and was invited on a tour of the Ducati factory, he said it was an awesome place and the best hit was the 'finishingbroom' where Ducati employed scantily clad pretty girls to polish up the finished bbikrs, I assume that this was only for factory tour days and not every day but still a cool finishing process, shake MV doesn't do the same! One thing I did pick up on were the white superveloce S, they were assembling them with standard superveloce wheels, not the gold and black spoked ones that are white S only wheels, maybe they are not through from supplier, i wonder are bikes taken in again to change wheels when they come into factory from holding aera.Best MV factory tour on you tube so far ,you showed engine assembly room ,interesting info, you must have done this video last year new colours on Superveloce S dragsters now for 2022. They must have a lot of 10k deposit taken on the Ago superveloce there seems a ton of them in holding aera.

well that is weird, I had a super veloce 800 , I have A rush 1000 and in 2 weeks i will be receiving my ago, i have not had major issues with any of them, and i put about 3500 miles on the rush the only bad it was failing to read the fuel properly, and yesterday a turning signal got bad, got the sensor and its good now , have not had any other issues with the rush, i have not had any issues with the veloce and i put well over 10,000 ,miles on it. sold it for the incoming ago. if you experience minor stupid issues its one thing, but me i have not had any major issues or down time with the bikes, this is an italian hand made not mass produced superbike, it comes with certain drama attached to it, like a pagani, you cant buy this bike and expect it to be a Kawasaki , sususki or honda, different bikes different demographic, different experiences for sure.

Far far better than the factory visit that both my son and I had 15 years ago. I was one of the first to by an MV Agusta f4 back in 2000. So mid 2000s I organised a factory visit. After driving hundreds of miles to the mv agusta factory, our visit lasted all of 12 minutes and we say hardly anything at all😔 Had I had that shit factory visit before I have spent 12k on the f4, I would not have bought one. Were as the other factory visits like ducati, ferrari and Lamborghini made the trip to Italy worth wile that summer. Glad to see mv have got there shit together..... Factory tour wise anyway.

And yet, your 2000 f4 will be a far better investment than any of these. I'm hoping to get a early to mid 2000 F4 before the summer. I prefer it's looks to the Ducati 916, even.

I do think that superveloce is a bit of a flop. I also don't think it will be a future classic. There are still loads for sale. You can make it as limited as you like, but if it's a dog it will always remain a dog! What makes future classics, pedigree and WSB wins etc. Young kids of today lust after the bike they can't afford. Then when they reach the each, they remember and loof for one. 749 R and 999 R are all highly sort after!
