Jirisan is full of surprises! The first episode gave me the impression that this might be a procedural drama, then BAM! PLOT TWIST, the audience is bombarded with different genres, Murder mystery..Crime, thriller..Horror, Paranormal.. slice of life and most recent episode, TEEN ROMANCE! Who would have thought a drama could work having all these elements!

I definitely agree with you. i am a thriller, mystery and crime enthusiast, anything and everything about these genre will definitely go into my list, but JIRISAN is something else. If you are Malaysian, JIRISAN story line and plot did not fall far from Malaysian mystical aspect about the existence of 'Alam Bunian' (not sure the term in English). Most Asian believe in the mystical aspect of the unseen life within the forests and mountains, the spirits that blend in its existence... that's what made JIRISAN special. It's not a parallel world theme, it's not paranormal... it's mystical, myth, legend, belief and reality mixed together. Simply beautiful and epic at the same time. You are glued to the story and the twisted plot because you can't simply predict the end of each episode and at the same time... you are mesmerize by the beauty of Mt Jirisan and all its complexity. I personally felt so humble every time I watch the drama, how natures tirelessly giving a piece of them for us human to ponder and to learn about life.

I listened to this song 2hrs straight and every time..every single time this repeated, I was almost weeping with impatience with expectation of hearing Destiny again. His vocals at 2:49 is pivotal to the soaring heights of this whole drama...and I love when he grabs you like that, I'm being dramatic but so truthful. If you haven't watched it yet, you are in for an awakening. Your mind once it connects the Visual, Lyrics and mMusic...be prepared to cry, cause it's that damn beautiful.
