Being upset that your best friend is being “taken away” by his gf/wife is one thing but his reaction and demeanor through the entire thing shows that it’s more than that. I just think it’s interesting that most gay people (like myself) read it as 100% gay but some (straight) people would consider something like “bromance” because it needs to be explicitly gay for them to even consider it. Though you guessed he liked the guy so my comment doesn’t apply to you 100% but the doubt is still there.

Fun fact : K.will was a Bighit artist (yes, that Bighit. The home agency of BTS). He was trained to be a ballad singer for 5 years before debut under producer *Bang Si Hyuk* aka *Hitman Bang* aka *BangPd* aka *Bighit & BTS ceo* The same man who discovered and put BTS together 😉 (yep.. BTS again 😂) His voice is insaneeee!!! Because he sang so many korean drama soundtrack, k-netz call him Prince of OST. I love seeing reactors reacting to this music video so much.. Hahaha

The lyrics of the song help to understand what happens in the music video. The guy confesses his feelings to his friend (after he got married) in the car, but he knows that his friend does not correspond to him so he asks him not to answer him and, between reflections, he drives to his friend's house but in actually he doesn't want to let him go. The presence of the girl in the car could be interpreted as a wish that the situation had been a conventional situation, that is, between a man and a woman, the desire to have fallen in love with her, believing that in this way he would have a chance to be happy with the person she loves ... or perhaps she only represents pain personified, since the girl is "the cause" that she can no longer even dream of reaching that great love.

@@Amicy i don't recall there being a kdrama to this story specifically (tho one of the guys, the crying one, is in Reply 1997 where he basically has the same story arc) but it's more because no one went out of their way to clarify it and really in South Korea if they were gonna go with bromance, they would have dialed down on the angst (the ripping the girl in half and meshing the pic together etc).

I got your point guys. And actually I never see such a great reaction like you guys. I even though about this being a bromance, but can be too. But I think it's actually a romance, even if isn't, it's a reality in both ways. Korea it's a very close minded country, and this mv it's a very good representation of lgbt community, what we almost don't have in kpop or anywhere haha. There's only one k-idol in kpop that is openly gay, and he has some songs, i will be happy if you guys check it out someday.
