This is what happens when people stan companies instead of amazing groups. People who stan companies - get so much views, groups get so much wins. People who stan groups who are talented - 30k views for an amazing song. I'm not saying groups from big companies are not talented ofc they are. But some people care just about groups who are under their favorite companies and they ignore all the other talented groups that truly need hype and the attention. Sometimes the most basic, average songs have so much hype and songs that are so freaking amazing get ignored.

I don't want to be too blunt, but you have to realize this is all apart of show business. A label (especially a kpop R.L) will rarely pump money into entertainment that isn't in high demand. Lady's Code is an iconic, talented group, however their moment in the spotlight is a good ways behind them. Only a miracle could throw them back to that point in their career as a group especially with the demand they'd have to compete with now a days. It really is tragic, but korean standards are vastly different from international ones. In the international music indistry many world renowned artists are treasured by the fans, but in korea it is mainly the label that is treasured. They constantly pump out fresh, new idols to keep up with demand, it's almost never about the talent because it's mainly about the trend. 20 years from now even group members from popular k groups such as mamamoo or vixx will be long since forgotten and underrated after their limelight ends. Just another sad truth about the kpop industry.
