What I learned from Ladies Code is that, although terrible things will happen in our lives whatever it is does NOT define our lives. We will grow stronger just like ladies of Ladies Code did.

It's often the case until the idols are very well established in the industry they don't get paid or get paid very very little. Even the one that you see with lavish clothes on TV and MV if they're just debuting or they're not that established yet it's 100% certain that they're not paid. That's why the company provide food and shelter etc... And that's also why most of the richest idols are either coming from money or they developed others activités quite well like they're long time producer/they have their own labels, advertisement etc and are well established (10 years + career)

It’s because I heard that spent more than 30 million wons per trainee although it looks like they’re just existing especially in the bigger company they spent more. That’s why they can’t leave the company until the contract is up. Then when you debut more money is invested on you and you have to work without a cents to pay it all off. Although you appear in more activities if you can’t pay the company back there’s also no use cause you’re bond by contracts.

except for the armys who were saying that since they disbanded bts was the only remaining 2013 group, that is. lavelys just want them to be as happy as possible and it shows. there’s also the pity stanning (ashley’s post got 25k likes on twitter alone in 24 hours while set me free sold less than 2k), which sucks, but most kpop stans as a whole are respectful towards them.

I think the reason why Lavelys were so respectful of the decision is that they were happy Sojung, Ashley, and Zuny decided to come back as Ladies' Code at all. The accident happened during Sojung's birthday and right before the accident, everyone greeted her a happy birthday and even had a cake made of choco pies. As they were on a diet at that time, none of the members ate it and headed to the next event and the accident happened. Sojung herself claimed that she lost consciousness, while the other two surviving members, Zuny and Ashley witnessed everything. Sojung even said that she can't celebrate her birthday as it was the day when the accident happened and also, EunB's death. Sojung confessed that she can't do anything between September 3 to September 7. I'm so excited and proud to see what Zuny, SoJung and Ashley will do outside of the group seeing as they all have individual talents and as they are still a group. These girls have had such an impact on my life through their music and bright bubbly personalities. They were the first group I truly stanned and I even bought my first physical k-pop albums being Kiss Kiss and Code #02 Pretty Pretty. Now that they have disbanded hopefully people will see just how underrated they were/are and bring light to how amazing these 5 girls are and were. I don't know why, seeing Eunb alive hugging that plush, and then seeing the plush right there in the ground and knowing that she wasn't there anymore... I just bursted into tears and simply couldn't stop. After recovering myself from the tears i went so search more and more about Ladie's Code, and, yeah, i was in love ... Till this day i'm a huge fan of Ladie's Code, i cryied days and nights with the release of both Myst3ry and Strang3r and still cry to this day. This shows that some Managers only cared more for money than their idols health Had the driver not driven the car at such rapid pace, the accident may have not happened
@6maria944 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, I don't think we should blame the manager. It's not that he didn't care. His life was at risk too. It's cultural. Music shows are very close to each other, and they need to rush to get there on time and still do all the make up and rehearsals. That's very important for their careers. I bet the girls wanted to get there on time too, and the manager would have probably been reprimanded by the CEO if they were often late, probably fired. What needs to change is the idols schedules. They are ridiculous. I actually pity the driver. He probably feels at fault for their lives, when it's the industry that needs to be more considerate for the workers. Anyway, he probably learnt the lesson. Being careful and prevent is very important.

Their label frustrated me so much especially towards the end of their time with Polaris. After The Rain comeback us fans had to wait almost 2 years for another comeback and that was just a Christmas song. I think for sure after the rain they could’ve gone on different shows like idol room or after school club and not just promoted current music but their older releases as well. It just felt like so many missed opportunities. But thank you ladies code we love u.
@haruharu46804 жыл бұрын
The lack of new releases might've had something to do with the fact that the remaining 3 members were focusing on their mental health, rather than putting out music every other season, which seems to be the custom in kpop Also, they stopped live performances starting with their Galaxy era because that kind of work regime was the cause of the car accident Honestly, I don't think it actually bothered most fans and (as a Lavely myself) I think everyone understood the circumstances and rooted for the recovery of the group
@Mikesaidit4 жыл бұрын
Haru Haru I can understand that too but to a certain extent. I really don’t agree with that because they did comeback stages for Feedback and I think their last comeback song. And we’ve also seen videos of them either at the studio just rehearsing dance moves and in their own personal time traveling to do different music shows/radio programs. I think their label could’ve have for sure done more for them. Especially after the accident moving forward I think there would always be that level of “let’s be safe” because I’m all for them recovering but I want them to be out there doing new music too. And I don’t think they just want to be left at home “recovering” for years and years.

I don't think that would ever completely go away. But I can also feel that they've embraced it, and used that pain to be stronger.

They were one of my favorite groups, the accident broke my heart and then when they came back the girls seemed so sad. Whatever they do in the future I hope they are happy ❤

Also, Ashley and Zuny were both awake at the scene and most likely have crazy scarring from seeing RiSe and EunB, with EunB being DOA. Sojung also suffered with anorexia, but after the accident and counseling it seems she hasn’t struggled much with it since then 🤍 I feel terrible that Sojungs birthday that year held EunBs death and Sojung was getting reconstructive jaw surgery, but I’m so happy the other 3 are doing well now 🤞🏻

These girls will always have a special place in my heart and I hope all the best for them really. They are such precious gifts in kpop! Galaxy and rain will remain superior and their older songs will always be in my playlists, especially 'so wonderful'. I'm so sad it's the end of the story :(

I remember when I bumped into Kiss Kiss. I was hooked on that song, I didn't even know what Kpop was nor that what I was listening to was my introduction to the world of Kpop. The song was amazing, but when I heard the news it also made me sad. Several months later I went back to it and listened to all of their music, I loved and appreciated every single song they ever made. Ladies Code truly deserved better

i always love ashley from the first time i heard her on the arirang radio back in 2016, it feels like she has such a brave charisma and full of humour. so i started to search more about her one day and found such a tragic back story of LC in the past, and yes I also didn’t know about it at all. But as things has moving on, Ashley is now a dj host on arirang and dive, sojung and zuny also move on with their own career, all i can say is thank you for keep going, keep moving forward and keep laughing even at the hardest time of you guys lives. all my support and love or Ashley, Sojung and Zuny. LC

Wait he severely injured all the members that resulted in 2 of the members losing their lives and he gets 1 year. Wow here that's called murder. Although i do get it was truly an accident and raining, that didn't help, but still that hurts. Sad story

That was so sad!😥😢..the manager definitely should have gotten more than just 1 year...however long he should or shouldn't have gotten, it won't bring those two beautiful souls back. RIP to them & prayers to their families 🙏🏽

I'm so sad it took you so long to make this video :(( but overall if I'm being honest ladies code was gaining attention and success after the release of pretty pretty and than after so wonderful they gained more success with kiss kiss and were growing a fanbase but once the accident happen they lost momentum and all of the focus went into the accident and from their that's all people would talk about it which is sad because ladies code HAVE POTENTIAL and still do, they still gained attention when they came back with The Rain and Galaxy and fans even pleaded Polaris Entertainment to take advantage of this and promote the girls even more but they didn't instead the girls went into hiatus for almost two years. After coming back with FEEDBACK & SET ME FREE momentum wasn't in their side but their loyal fanbase lavelys stayed by their side till the end. till this day I wished they could of gotten their first win after being an almost 7 year old group.

Guys accidents happen every day in life and sometimes at the cost of someone's life. The manager wasn't drunk or in any way trying to hurt the girls, the company let him go down and do a year in prison. You guys forget that a lot of the times managers are close to idols, like they care for them. What if one day u crash with one of your relatives? accidents happen and you guys shouldn't wish bad upon someone that already has their concience to deal with

I came because I watch Ashley in Dive Studios. I've only heard her mention Ladies Code once and I was so curious. Now I understand why she doesn't talk about it that much and how BM and Peniel always seem so respectful and supportive if she mentions anything about her group or her accident. Makes me love them more.
