they may not be that famous internationally, but they are big in south korea (if you watch some koreans reacting to them, they always say this), the gp respects them so much for their talent especially for their vocals and live performances, but yeah i really hope that they'll soon get the international recognition they deserve

This is a break up song without feeling bad about it. Moonbyul took part on songwriting and composing Aya the lingering feelings after a breakup is like a rotten tooth that should be pulled out. Aya in Korean is an expression of pain like ouch. They are really stepping up the game by trying other genres and style. The Dance break at the end was Brazilian Funk. And many Brazilian are happy that they incorporated a bit of it in their music. What I like about Mamamoo is every music they release is a present, the fans are always guessing what they will do next.

Solar said the monobrow is inspired by Frida Kahlo. she had the make-up on, without telling the CEO about it. ahahahaha Aya is best live. Mamamoo is marketed in SK, they are one of the respected girl groups in SK. Their talents and work ethics (after that Aya Live on their Comeback Show, the girls did a formal bow, to thank the staff and directors of the show. Altho, that is their prizing for winning Queendom.) are often complimented. With BP and BTS they are marketed internationally. That is why they have English speakers in the group. To be honest, RBW stepped up on promoting the girls with AYA and Travel album. We get so many guesting and content. Plus they didn`t spoil the song so much. One of my friends, Wind Flower was worse. They literally have zero promotions. During those days RBW just sucks. I`m glad that Mamamoo is getting noticed internationally thru youtube reactors like you guys. :) Stream Aya MV so that they can win wards. ehehehe

The reason why bp is more popular ,, is because they come from a large company in Korea, namely YG.entertainment While mamamoo only comes from small companies, such as BTS, but the reason BTS is very popular is because they have talent and of course people are more interested in male groups than With girl groups ... that's the reason mamamoo is not very popular ... but with their hard work, with the talents they have, they became the 4th girl group that is famous in South Korea after other girl groups who came from big companies Like BP (YG ent), Twice (JYP Ent), Red Velbed (SM ent) and of course Mamamoo (RBW ent)

it's not a gp friendly song, mamamoo knew this and wanted to go wìth it anyway because they wanted to do something unique. thats why they also released dingga, which is charting extremely well. they're giving us the best of both worlds 😉

Mamamoo is the definition of talent. Other idols are too “taught” and calculated in their stage presence, whereas Mamamoo knows how to embrace their own unique colors AND literally has the best vocals. The only reason they’re not as famous is because they (like BTS) come from a tiny ass company, which means it took Mamamoo 2 whole years of hard work to get their first music show win, whereas “Big 3” company groups like Twice, Blackpink, and Red Velvet got MASSIVE hype and awards right from debut since their CEOs were super powerful people who wielded tons of influence in the industry. If the playing field had been even somewhat fair, I GUARANTEE you my organs and soul that Mamamoo would’ve been the top girl group in Korea right now. Their vocals and stage presence are second to none, and the fact that they’re even giving those Big 3 girl groups a run for their money is actually a big deal considering they have only a fraction of their resources and connections. Shows how Mamamoo actually had to work and climb the ladder for their fame, whereas the Big 3 groups mostly got it from having powerful companies and good hype marketing behind their backs.

mamamoo really is underrated and they're super talented! But one of the biggest factor is because they came from a very small company when they debuted and had to start from the ground up, like having yo perform on the streets and having family and friends as audience in performances at first. Theres a video about their journey in YT i just forgot but idk if you already reacted to it as well. They're already quite well known in Korea I think but internationally, they still lack presence BUT! Moomoos are growing! Hopefully world tour is soon!

The thing is if mamamoo was from the big three than mamamoo wouldn't be mamamoo and hwasa probably would have been removed because of "my way hyejin" and solar probably wouldn't be able to get in because of her age so like RBW was best for them. Totally agree with you both, Mamamoo deserves better & definitely should have more views if not as much as BP. They have been great since debut, just look at their debut & early era songs they have, they are still classic and you can hardly find any group that can do such kind of jazzy pop concept and they killed it! I partly blame their label (even though they were new & very small) didn't have the vision like Big Hits has for BTS, they don't know how to promote Mamamoo to the world audience. For example, spliting MV views on multiple KZbin channels, not providing English subs on time, no world tours etc. I have listened to KPop almost for a decade & I have never recommended for Mamamoo by KZbin and I only found out about Mamamoo when I searched for best female Kpop rappers and went through the list...
