Where do I even begin with this one. Easily my favorite holoEN group song, and a contender for some of my all-time favorite Calli-written lyrics. I think it's been since End of a Life that I've felt this emotional after hearing a song. For a 4-minute song, it just flew by, but every moment felt memorable - that's how you know you've got something good. It's crazy hard to make 19 people sound good in a song, and there were so many smart choices about who to pair into groups to sing together, who to give which solos, and how to divide the lines between everyone. Great choices made like having someone from each gen mentioning the name of their gen in a lyric somewhere, Kiara mentioning fire/sparks, and other lines like that. Great vocal performances from everyone in EN - everyone has grown so much in their singing ability and sounds amazing. The mixer cooked getting so many diverse voices to sound good together. AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE LYRICS. So many layers of depth here. I won't say too much since these are things best "never spoken of out in the light", but I think I picked up on the messages y'all were dropping (one of Nerissa's lines in particular really hit home for me the themes here). Even when someone's journey in a group come to an end, their personal Odyssey continues, as does the Odyssey of the group. The fires that person lit will continue burning both in the hearts of their fans and in the heart of the group. Thank you Calli for organizing this beautiful project, and thank you to everyone in holoEN for your hard work and for continuing to be a source of inspiration for so many. Though the Odyssey may be relentless, know that so many fans already "recall these nights" with fondness, and the night this song dropped will also be a cherished memory for so many.
