This was a very sad song even though spring day symbolize hope and new beginning in Korean. This song is about suicide and depression. Korea has one of the highest suicide rates among developed countries. It is common that people take off shoes before they end their lives. Shoes Jimin picked up at the beach belonged to someone once. Shoes were hung in the tree and all BTS(7) were present and BTS will move on with new hope and new goal with memories of those no longer with us and they will start a new beginning and which perfectly fits with title spring day, symbol of hope and new beginning. Scenes with piles of clothes were too much to for me to bear. What do they symbolize? Dirty laundry meaning something we want to hide or uncomfortable truth? or even worse they belonged to students drowned to death in Sewol Ferry in 2014? Big Hit and BTS donated a large sum of money for the victims and they were placed on government's blacklist. Combining that with shoes picked up at the beach? Maybe I'm thinking too much. My kudos to BTS. Theyt did not shy away from subject people don't want to talk about and more they presented it in such a beautiful song. I do know this album is about hope and the rest of the album assures me that we can do it together not alone. You don't have walk alone. We can walk together.

I know I’m really late for this but whoever read this(also for the creator),actually this song is abt Sewol Ferry incident on 2014 that happened in South Korea and this is really tragic..300 students died and the 16 August is the date of the incident..that’s why this mv look like it has something to tell..and the yellow ribbon🎗

The memories of the past will always be there, and we can chase them forever and end up in a hopeless cycle - like the washing machine featured - if we so choose. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Series has centered around the journey into adulthood, with each member facing their own fears and insecurities along the way. Surprisingly, it is the youngest member, JUNGKOOK who chooses to board the train away from Omelas first. He’s always been the one most reluctant to mature, most afraid of what the future holds. Yet, he is the one who first sees the need to move away from his youth. He is soon followed by RAP MONSTER , who walks through the cars of the train before returning to the Omelas hotel. Ultimately though, it is Jungkook who runs back to Omelas to gather the members before boarding the train a second time. The rest of the members take their own path to boarding the train, each bringing their own baggage with them. SUGA literally has a mountain of laundry and memories that he rests atop of while he tries to sort out all the change in his life, trying not to be resentful of the person who left him. JIN takes snapshots with his fingers - holding his hands up in front of him to watch his fellow members advance along the staircase of life. It isn’t until they’re all on the train together than he finally puts his fingers down, when he finally moves past trying to preserve his youth - their togetherness - forever, and moves towards growing up. V and J-Hope both take a unique route to boarding the train. In the case of V, he’s always been the most wayward among the group - teetering on the edge of death, particularly through suicidal imagery. Somehow though, in each MV, he always pulls himself back and continues to trudge on. In “Spring Day” it seems he’s finally come to terms with his own demons as he waits patiently for the train. He even walks alone on the tracks to catch up to it before boarding with a smile on his face. J-Hope, on the other hand, is seen riding atop the train with a paper airplane - combating his fear of heights and finally being free. JIMIN has the most interesting sub-plot, as he clings to the memory of those being left behind by carrying around a pair of worn sneakers. The shoes hint at death - at the memories Jimin is carrying around in his conscious - and his own grief and guilt for trying to move on without someone. He sits with the sneakers at the beach and atop a spinning washing machine, still unable to fully abandon the memories of those in his past. Even once he’s seated on the train, Jimin is inconsolable, shrugging away J-Hope’s comforting hand to his knee. Out of all the members, he’s the least ready to move on. There is no such thing as eternal happiness, there is no real Omelas like everyone hopes for. Even the fictional utopia of Omelas had its darkness in the single child to who had to suffer for everyone’s happiness. Once the members have finally accepted that eternal youth is not eternal happiness, they are able to board the train together, to push forward into the unknown. There may be an unforgiving winter ahead, but once they pass through the tunnel, spring will come; and they will still be together. When they get off the train in spring, Jimin finally releases the sneakers he’s been toting by placing the shoes in a tree; preserving the memory of youth forever, but allowing himself to grow away from it. In so doing, he honors the loss of youth and those who didn’t manage to make it into adulthood. Cherry blossoms begin to swirl around the members, and they can all finally find some form of peace in one another."

The MV is about the bond of life now and after between friends. The train represents the passage to the next life. In the start, V waits symbolically listening for the passage as he rests his ear on the rail. Rap Mon is already there and begins the music part. Each one eventually goes on the train alone but do not leave. This is the reference to "You never walk alone". They are waiting for each other and will not leave until all have come aboard. Jimin waits on the beach searching for a pair of shoes but just one. The scenes outside the passage, are memories shared of each other as friends and times as birthday parties and laughing together. Jin and laundry is the transition from the physical life to the next life...a sort of cleansing. The mountain of clothes represents leaving there possessions behind. This mountain starts with Suga alone ...and again is alone but joined by his friends. Kookie is alone on the train and has been waiting along time...he reflects back on his memories with his friends. Finally Kookie knows that his friends are aboard and searches all over for them. They meet up together as friends again. Final scene is the friends in the train car together, and J Hope wakes up Jimin to tell him they have arrived to next life. They leave together and leave just one pair of shoes to represent the bond together as one. Touching story.

Since Bangtan is an A+++ entertainment, I'm pretty sure this MV symbolizes both the Sewol tragedy and their HYYH story. They're so good that they can mix it up. I don't think Omelas & No Vacancy plots would be fitting if this was just for Sewol tragedy. Either Jin or Jungkook died, at least in this one.

Let me explain ... *cough cough* Let's start of with Jhope does have ALOT OF LINE he sing with the other members Okay now for the theory So it's all started from I need you I need you: they're actually calling out to their youth to come back to them since their youth times are ending so it basically " I need you youth!" Butterfly: they spend times with each other before they fully grow up and the part where V jumps is him leaving his youth (sinceV's mental age is 4 he left his youth last instead of kookie) Run: them running away from their youth but as much as they want to stay young and enjoying their youth they can't coz everyone needs to grow up (them being sad and depressed in the mv is stress, coz as we become adults we need to spend our time wisely and can't enjoy as we used to when we were young) and V drowning is him having an hard time accepting that his becoming an adult Fire: suga tried to burn the man in black because the man in black is the adulthood reaching out to them while they enjoy B.S.T: them trying to be adults at the best they can. The rest of the members are having fun except Jin (the demon statue is the adult hood Jin kissed it since his accepting it first before the others.... V trying to pull him away is because V is the last one to leave his youth and trying to bring Jin back with him) Spring day: every members are running up the stair except Jin because he once tried to come back to his youth by climbing the stairs until he realized that the stairs was endless...Jungkook came running towards the train with the other members riding the train to their adult hood..no one died though SPRING DAY IS ACTUALLY JUST SHOWING THE CYCLE OF LIFE FROM THEM HAVING FUN AS TEENS TO BEING ADULTS UNTIL THEY DIE.... NOT TODAY: the guy who is shooting the members is the man in black.....so remember when I told you Jungkook and the other members rode the train but left V, Jungkook kept running coz V wasn't shot yet (coz V is the older than kookie) so Jungkook was still running away from the man waiting for V.. (You're probably thinking then why is it called Not Today? It's because as the members reach the bright thing (the youth is the brightness) the man in black told them "Not Today") And if your on the dead member theory Jin was the one who died, try listening to awake remember him saying there are 6 petals on his hand and him running while the others fly they probably finally reached the cliff and the other flew while he ran and fell down the cliff(if you don't know the cliff I'm talking about cliff on their photo shoot the photo where they're running towards the cliff If your on saying the Youth but someone died theory it's Jin while the others are going through adulthood to death

TaeTae kaeb Jjang no....I dint think it is...please don't attack me. But I think it's about the whole sewol ferry thing that happened on 2014. And when namjoon said "showpiecer", that's a movies name. But anyway, I think it's about sewol ferry because I was told that Tae and jk were in that ship, and they were survivals, but the story hunts them and they learn to move on. As for the laundry, I think it has to do with all the clothes left in the ship and in the sea. Also the part when Jin was seeing the other going up the stairs, I think it meant that the dead only get to see people grow older and move on while all they can do is watch. Ok either jin or the others died. Jin was in the staris but wasn't going up. People say thats the stairs to heaven and everyone but jin went up. When the train passed by, jin was not there thats why there were only 6 of them. Also, in the photoshoot jin didn't have shoes those are jin shoes that are hanged in the tree.
