Hey, fellas. Like other commenters have already mentioned, the story (crafted by Justin) shown in this video depicts 5 intersecting tales of love. The band members are depicted as characters (though the story is purely fictional), and whichever one of them is currently singing a line, then the cartoon shows that member. Different kinds/varying degrees of "love" are shown, from the high-school type y'all mentioned to more mature ones. "Hanggang sa Huli" is a song off of SB19's first album (back in 2020), and -- though the Tagalog lyrics were written by Pablo -- the music itself was composed by the Korean Han Tae Soo. So it does sound quite different from the band's later music, but many (including myself) still consider it one of SB19's best and most beautiful ballads.

You have to deep dive into this MV to get the beautiful story of loving, losing and accepting. It's actually 5 stories in 1 MV. All SB19 members each have stories in overlaping timelines and situations. All of them loved and lost but learned to accept in the end (which was why they have smile on their faces in the end.) Love the concept of this MV (which was from Justin's creative mind).

This is one of their very first songs. ( in their teens). Pablo was just starting to compose songs. They were very, very young then. They broke out right before the pandemic. Pablo wrote so many songs during the pandemic . Some of those songs were very motivating for both young and old and was encouraging and uplifting. Wish you could react to these songs. Justin, the youngest member, has a degree in media arts and he did all the sketches of this MV. They started with nothing. No support crew and they did everything by themselves including all their cheography. They swapped clothes with each other as they had no money to spend on clothes. They have come a long way despite all the bashing they received! Thanks for the reaction.

Hi. I believe Pablo only wrote the Tagalog lyrics for "Hanggang sa Huli", but the music was composed by Han Tae Soo (a Korean). In fact, I recall Pablo saying that what made "What?" (and the other songs in the Pagsibol EP) really special was that it was the first time SB19 was making all-Filipino music.

I think that Pablo wrote or began writing this song when he was still young. His bandmates describe him as a romantic and a poet, so sometimes what he says can be a bit exaggerated. I suggest you watch the Round Festival 2021, they performed 6 songs live. Hanggang Sa Huli, Go Up, What?, Bazinga, MAPA, Tilaluha. Another version is TM PUSUAN with Sb19 and ofcourse the Wish bus perf. Then now Round Festival 2023 in Indonesia. Liham, Gento, Crimzone. Thank you for appreciating SB19.

This is a story of unrequited love for each of them, although it's fiction of course. Ken's crush happened to be with another girl. For Justin, she was offered a scholarship from a school in another city. The girl who caught Stell's eye already have a boyfriend. Josh wasn't able to express his love and the girl already has a child when he saw her again. And Pablo's story ended in tragedy when they met an accident. They weren't able to do a proper MV as it was in the middle of the pandemic. Justin made the storyboard and most of the drawings for the animation. He finished Multi Media Studies and this was really his forte. He was also the Creative Director for most of their MVs, most notably What?. They do have a live performance for this in Wish Bus and at ASAP with Regine Velasquez.

Hello sirs. The song is about 5 young men. They have stories to tell. Josh is the one at the park, Justin is the student, Ken is the one who helped the girl from another guy, Stell is the one in the cafe and Pablo is the one shown always in bed and later in a wheelchair.

To expound on the story of the member's and their love interests in the MV: Justin is classmates with the girl, and he was about to confess his love for her thru writing a message for her in a notebook, planning to give it to her with a flower. But then, the girl hands him her acceptance letter for a scholarship in an international school, and so, Justin decides not to confess, not wanting to distract her or be a hindrance on her way to achieving her dreams. It was symbolized by the flower dropping off of Justin's hand. Pablo, Justin's classmate from the past as seen in the group photo, was on a tragic accident when they went to meet up for a school reunion. He became a cripple (the wheelchair at the end), and the girl heloves unfortunately died during that time, as evidenced by the newspaper article in his room when he was on the floor crying. He then decides to go on a trip, riding the bus to visit her memorial, and to finally let go of his regrets, accepting the circumstances. Josh went back to his hometown, reminiscing about the memories from the past with his childhood friend (playing on the playground, the markings on the tree). He was about to leave the red bracelet he was wearing beneath the tree when a child bumped into him with a ball she's playing with. He then decides to give it to her, and the kid runs up to her parents, where we see the mother wearing a matching red bracelet with the one he gave away. He was taken aback at first, not expecting to see her there, but is happy for her as she has created a happy family with her husband. Ken's love interest is Josh's love interest's daughter, as evidenced by the red bracelet she was wearing. He loves her, but when he went to the coffee shop that Stell is working at, Ken saw her with another girl, being lovey dovey with her (they are holding hands). He quietly decides to let go of his feelings, silently leaving the shop. Then when the girl was walking, a random guy harassed her, grabbing her arm, and Ken stepped up to help. He helped her without asking for anything in return, neither being bitter and ignoring her nor holding it against her because of his failed love. Stell's love interest is a regular at the coffee shop his working at. He takes care of her on the sidelines, like reserving her favorite spot during the times she usually goes to at the shop, and leaving notes on her table. When he finally musters his courage to confess to her, she arrives at the shop, but something is amiss from the usual. She's with a guy, who is obviously her special someone, and they order coffee for two together. Stell watches them, and sees how happy they are together, and he becomes glad for her. At the end, all of the boys can be seen smiling, accepting that they cannot be together, and letting go of their feelings for the girls. They may have let go of their love, but the fond memories remain Hanggang sa Huli (which means until the end), cherishing it and reminiscing about it. So no, no one is gonna off themselves because of the failed love in the MV. Though Pablo's story is the toughest, as he was grieving the death of his loved one, but he learned to accept it in the end.

Hanggang sa Huli Timeleine 2009 - Justin & Pablo’s High School Days, as seen in the photo. 2015 to present time (meaning the year the MV was dropped - 2021) - Josh and Pablo’s adult life. The kid whom Josh’s character gave the red bracelet was kens love interest in the year 2034. 2034 - Stell and Ken’s timeline. This song was about loving someone that wasn’t meant to be but still choosing to love them from afar and being able to accept it and be happy for the person. It is a mature kind of love, but not a self-loathing and non self-deprecating love. 🩵

This whole thing about love and relationship is a cultural thing and I should know because I am a Filipino. Filipinos are hopelessly romantic and even today I still see lovers who have been dating since high school then college then have their jobs but they're still together and ultimately get married. I think this is because of two factors: Religion (Roman Catholics) and the law: THERE IS NO DIVORCE IN THE PHILIPPINES!

Hi this is actually 5 different love stories Stell as the waiter at the coffee shop admiring someone who belongs to somebody else already Justin highschool love transferred to different school right before he can confess his true feeling for the girl Ken fall in love to a girl who love same gender(lgbt) Josh reminiscing childhood love with the red bracelet they used to have when they are young but they did not end up together and surprisingly it happened that josh childhood sweetheart was the mother of the girl ken is admiring of. The live version of this song (any live, but my fave is the Wish Bus one) is way better than the studio one. The vocals are arranged differently, with different members singing different parts and more harmonies added. To my knowledge, they've never performed the studio version live.
