Usually, I'm too shy to comment on videos, but now I'll get enough courage to put every Shannon song together and explain what I understood from the whole story. I'm sorry for the long comment! m(_ _;)m First of all, I'll make sure to note that I think the black-haired boy from I want to see scary things is Nagi, the same from The Light of Yomikudari. Even the boy from About Death has a chance to be him, the ahoge, and the same sweatshirt that the boy has in the PV is a tremendous mark point for me. Now with that said, let's speak about another character, as we can see a black-haired and blue-eyed (or black-eyed?) boy painting something. We know it can't be Nagi since he got amber eyes, and it also can't be the white-haired boy from I want to see scary things/Heading Towards the Blue because them doesn't even have the right hair color. So we have Suguru Hoshino from Apollo doesn't know the universe and the elderly man from the same song. (you can see his youthful appearance at 2:48: in Apollo doesn't know the universe, not here in this song. I also think this elderly man may be Shannon himself since in 2:29 you can see his Twitter account) I assume that that black-haired boy in the song's start is Shannon (from what I've established before) because I can also point out he got a character reference from the blonde person at the end of the song. And if we don't get to see Suguru, Yozora, Nagi, or Nami, we can see some references from their songs. I'll call out some of them: 1:28 There's Écrits, the same book Nagi holds in I want to see scary things. 1:46 Is the same place where Nagi finds the white-haired boy in I want to see scary things. 2:46 Many objects kind of remind me of Apollo doesn't know the universe. 2:52 Same place that appeared in The Light of Yomikudari 3:23 The Bone Dinosaur that is mentioned and has appeared in many songs, such as Wandering Late at Night, The Light of Yomikudari, I want to see scary things, and About Death. When the tiny creature got eaten, this seems to have scared the blonde-haired kid, and he retreated. But by doing so, he got above a fissure that makes a current to the sea surface. (I'm not so sure how to call it, but I hope I made clear what happened) That reveals to us that he can't survive up there and almost dies, and his friend come to rescue him pulling him down (From what I'm theorizing, this scene is upside down.) I'm commenting this to try calling someone to help me solve some questions I have about those songs since I'm not 100% sure of half of the stuff I said. The line of "I asked if I could be born on this world" is something so hazy and vague that makes me think of the whole narrative. But it's not only the narrative that brings me here every time Shannon posts a new video, but it's also because of the catchy and nice melodies in his songs.
