So I know here in Oklahoma there becomes conflicts with the pension when your on more than 1 department, and it is overall kind of frowned upon here. How are you on, if I remember right, 4 departments?

I’m in a rural area with small departments, so no pensions or benefits. 2 depts I’m strictly volunteer so no pay, no pension. One career job is a part-time job, so no benefits or pension there either. My full time job offers some benefits. So there are no conflicts between jobs. Each individual Fire Dept is responsible for providing benefits or pensions if they choose to, so it’s not a State or County issue in terms of pension plans.

SpeedbirdFF gotcha. Down here pension is a state thing and volunteer or career depts can have it. Make sense for you up there though. Gets you more action lol
