For those interested here is the parts inventory for the AT since I have had it, 2016 model. 28K Klms or I guess around 600 hrs in little bike speak :) 1 bash plate $355, 1 set Barkbusters $160, 2 folding mirrors $30, 2 exhausts $110, 3 oil filters and 13l oil $200, 1 set air filters $139, 1 set rear brake pads $39, 1 set rear wheel bearings and seals $16, 1 front and 1 rear sprocket $112, 1 radiator hose $15, 1 fork seal $40, 1 Indicator relay $62, 2 RH footpeg mounts $310, 1 rear brake lever $121, 1 front brake lever $60, 1 exhaust cover $45, 8 rear tires and tubes $1530, 5 front tyres and tubes $850. Just ordered a set of rear suspension link bushes $88. Lh fairing is a bit scratched up but still running it , they are $ 514.. Mick

Thanks for sharing this great video. I have an Africa Twin, and I do off road with it too. This is an amazing bike, most capable for its weigth. The original transmission is 16/42, but reducing the front pignon to 15 like Mick, would increases torque by 7%. Also, such performance can only be reached with à manuel transmission.

First of all ,this is a great video., & great choice of music, I especially like how you show what every body is going to do ( get a little in over your head & then just go for it) ., & yes , it goes without saying (I hope) that " your weight " , as a percentage of the bikes weight ., it's tough to influence jumping over stuff like you can on a 400cc bike., & this just shows the logic of it , but it's exactly what every ones going to do ,(try it anyway to see where it goes).Finally a realistic test ride!

Not taking anything away from Mick's riding skills or the bikes capabilities, it's amazing what you can do when you don't give a rats arse about what happens to the bike (and seemingly the body) when carrying on & trying difficult things. Nice.
