Just love you guys and Nordhavn is my favorite trawler builder by far! Reliability, quality and so capable on a wide range of seas and waterways. Just love the upgrades you've made to MV Freedom; it's great to be part of the process, even though it's done by watching your channel on KZbin and not in person. Thanks for letting us into your life as a boating family. 👍

Watching for the first time. Taking the scooter from EastSound to Buck Bay "I don't know how hilly the roads will be..." Hilly my friend, hilly. This is going to be good. Always listen to the wife "no, we don't need the extra charger...."

I watch several sailing channels, and your boat is the one that is maintained, kept spotless, by far. It always looks like you just took delivery. Bravo and thanks for your effort and the vid's.

At the dock in Deer Harbor Marina the internet is pretty much nonexistent. Luckily our boating buddies had a booster on their boat and we could poach off theirs enough to get work emails. You guys are very brave using those scooters on roads with essentially no shoulders. We have Rad ebikes and feel alot safer since we have bright blinking red lights and the ability to ride on what little shoulders their are. Also Range is not a problem for the batteries. We have done lots of 50 mile round trip rides and had more than enough battery when we got done.....nice big boat deck on Freedom with plenty of room for a couple Rads....😎

the scary part of biking/scooting on narrow roads is you literally put your life in the hands of the worst driver(s). All it takes is one errant driver, driving distracted/texting/drunk and you get wiped out. Be careful and stay safe but consider an Uber for your island road trips.

When you guys scoot about on your scooters, you guys are dressed like a million dollars but you don't have colors or small flashers to help motorists see you better and sooner. Try to take "I didn't see you" off the table. Love you guys.
@charlienevergold36542 жыл бұрын
Yielding to pedestrians and cyclists is a NW thing. I’n Texas a pedestrian has to use the crosswalk and only cross when given the signal to do so. If not it’s their fault for getting hit. I’ve driven in Seattle and Vancouver and nearly killed someone daily because they just start walking regardless of the crosswalk signal and the driver is expected to stop.
@user-sx4yu3nw4j2 жыл бұрын
Not exactly relevant to cyclists and pedestrians legally riding/walking alongside, but ok
@charlienevergold36542 жыл бұрын
@@user-sx4yu3nw4j for us in Texas it’s best to just not use the streets. Ride on a side walk. If there isn’t a sidewalk, find another way. If a cyclist is on the road and they are hit by a car it’s possible they are liable for any damages. I had a guy run a stop sign and hit me on his bike. He had to pay for the damages.
