watching this to get better at the 3 I currently main (Sword, Slingshot, Subspace) and it seems for sword just dont be a wimp and do what melee people are supposed to, slingshot you just need to AIM, and subspace you just... jump a lot. Also cause yourself pain. Lots of self-poisoning goin on there.

hi there, just a quick question and not in a mean way, how do you manage to play up to level 290 and not get bored? thanks :-)

I do indeed get bored sometimes! That level 290 isn't playtime all at once. I've played for about a year so far to get to that level. I've taken lots of breaks throughout the time I've played phighting. But part of it is to find new fun ways to play the game! Play classes you aren't good at yet. Or play classes you are good at in a different way. I used to play rocket like a melee class, where I'd be so close to the enemy that I'd take self damage. It was surprisingly effective. Though you can't really do that anymore because of the rocket jumping patch though. I'd also play classes like Hyperlaser as a flanker, keeping a medium range from enemies for best damage output. This strategy wasn't very effective though. Or you can impose challenges on yourself! Some of the fun ones are playing with no UI. You can press N to hide the UI. Or you can play with your screen flipped. There's a setting in Windows that allows you to do that, this is pretty fun too. If you're on mobile you can't really do these things though. All high level players eventually become a skate main. It has the highest skill ceiling in the game, and it's very fun going fast. I plan to eventually make a video on how to play skate and all it's tech, but I won't have that finished in a long time.

I'm very new to phighting and I'm really confused on how to read leader boards (after matches ofc) I'm not sure what 12/2/3 really means. (I just took the Sword leader board as an example.) I just know it means stuff about kills, assists, and deaths- But I have no clue on how the ordering works :( Could you possible tell me how the ordering goes? :)

i dont know what to tell you play a lot more and get experience. it doesn't have to be phighting either I got my good movement from playing flood escape 2 a lot. so play a lot more in skill based games to get better.

you mean me being nearly level 300 and having just over 2 million bux? It does make sense if you think about the xp system. For someone to reach level 300, they'd need to earn exactly 1,143,750 XP in total. For reference, to reach level 100 a total of 131,250 XP is needed, and to reach level 50 a total of 34,375 XP is needed. So the xp requirements to level up goes wayyyy up the higher level you are.
